Yawn... Wakey Wakey...!!! #3

Its going to be a sunny day here and a little warmer then its been lately.

Rather dull today and quiet dark in the house,hard to imagine that it is June:D

At least it is dry today and the weekend looks good so we might get over to the allotment tomorrow to get the rest of the veggies planted out

Had to contact the site foreman yesterday teatime as one of the baby Blue Tits from my nest box had fledged and had flown through the open window of the house nearest and couldn't get out so he came straight round and we went into the house shell.He climbed right up into the roof trusses but the little bird was in a panic and was flying around all over the place so in the end he had to climb up onto the outside of the roof and cut a hole in the roofing felt then had to climb down come back inside then climb back up into the roof trusses to shoo it out of the hole.It took five minutes for it to find it's way out but at last it went out so it was a relief

It wasn't all bad though as while I was thanking the foreman for his help and talking about our work in the garden which we are doing he has promised to drop off a skip this morning for us to put all the crappy clay we are digging out of the garden.I offered to pay for the skip but he said that because we had been good about not complaining about all the noise from their work on the site he was more than happy to help us out.:D We shall see now if he is as good as his word and whether we get the skip this morning

Loopy,get the bugs out of the way then you can enjoy the summer when it eventually gets here:D

Its going to be an nice day here, around 78*, and then rain moving in tonight and supposed to last all weekend, but it'll be warm.

 

have just spoken to jazmine!

the surgery went very well, she is sore and bruised but on the mend!!!

might be a few more days before she is online but wanted to say hello to all her friends on GC!!

Looks like it is going to be a beautiful day out there today so hopefully if I can unstiffen my fingers we should have a good days work outside

Just been watching an otter from otter bridge feeding so glad that I got up early now.Lovely to watch nature at work and to see them back in the rivers again

Good afternoon all. Although I rarely post on here I do like to check it out to see what you're all up to.

I was just thinking about the weather we've had here (typical British, lol). Earlier this week we had salad for tea with the doors & windows open. The very next day I had the heating on & roast was tea! Is there anywhere else that can have it so different in one day? Today it was really cold when I got up so when we went out at 9 am I put a polo neck jumper on, by 11 am it was so hot I was sweating! Never mind, it's never boring!

Up early again this morning,just been watching the kestrels getting fed although the little one didn't get a look in so that was sad:(

Anyway,we had a very good day yesterday over at the lottie in the afternoon after grocery shopping in the morning,then in the evening I sat and watched the Jane Austin film on the tele while Mr Kandy watched the practise session for todays Grand Prix:D

Borrowers,nice to see you back on hereHave you heard from Rosa lately?I keep emailing her and when she eventually answers my mail she says she doesn't sit at the computer much now.I expect she is enjoying her lovely flowers now she has a place of her own
