morning everyone thanks for the lovely welcome back, i moved because i was fed up of them downstairs making loads of noise and my hubby and i have split up mind we are remaining good friends so thats a good thing, it was hard work moving still have things to pick up tommorow not taking my pots off the balcony too heavy to get down them stairs took my table and chairs and loads of other things.
my new yard is a good size its shared with upstairs but my area is a good size so im fencing it off and decking it then getting new pots and flowers.
my broadband was just switched over to my new place made it much easier to get back on heres pic of my dining room not quite finished but getting there got a large lounge to front of property so busy sorting that out and my bedroom.
    have a nice day all

Good morning everybody! Woo and Rosa - you're up early as usual!
Woke up to listen to the news to hear that Kent has been blanketed with snow - traffic chaos on the A2, school closures etc.....but I looked outside and the snow seems to have forgotten that we too are in Kent as there's nothing!!!!!!!! Kids will be disappointed.
Rosa your new dining room looks lovely - looking very organised already! Sorry to hear your news. My eldest son has just split with his girlfriend of a couple of years - but they too are remaining friends - which is great. They are best friends, just taking different directions - one getting into work the other off soon to do Masters degree. Sad, but everybody needs to make sure they are happy.

Hope everybody has a great day :)

    Morning friends :luv:
Rosa good to see you back- look forward to hearing all the news about your new place, I am so pleased things are more settled for you now. Will catch up soon.
Well Mat is home but was "struggling" and slept a lot and he is still losing blood so we will have to see how things go here. Apparently his kidney was not able to drain due to this blockage [a stone] - no wonder he was in agony.

Have a lovely day everyone, I may go shopping as Marks have a half price sale!!

In Shineyland it is also frosty and very sunny :)

    G'day all,

I had to run and get some shopping yesterday so time in the garden was limited, what used to be a 5mile round trip is now more like 20 due to the bridges being closed/damaged around Cockermouth...and of course ALL traffic from Cockermouth/Workington are now just using the one bridge so the roads are like a London rush hour permanantly.

But its bright and sunny today with a frost earlier and the RAF's jets are roaring across the top of us here to play "Tag" over the fells so I'm out in the garden again.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you decide to do.

    Steve...:)

    Good afternoon everyone,

Sorry I'm a little late today but had another billious attack last night again not long after we had gone to bed so feeling a bit rough today:( I shall be glad when my body gets used to these meds, but at the moment have to put up with the side affects.:p

Woo,thanks for your kind words as usual:gnthb:

Rosa, your dining room looks nice, just leave it as it is and don't add anything else to it:D

It is bitterly cold here today as I found out when I went to put something in the dustbin earlier but as yet we have had no more snow.:D

Steve,i bet you will be glad when your town gets back to some normaility,it must be a bind having to go the long way round to get any provisions.Sorry to hear you have noisy jets over you today. We have the Blades team doing their practise over our village at least twice a week and more in the summer and I keep wishing I had a large gun to shoot them down with:D

Jazmine, glad to hear your son has had his op but sorry he is still unwell.Hope he starts to feel better soon.:thmb:

Shiney, tell the misses to save her money,i have gone off M&S big time since they changed the country where they used to get all their stuff from to another third world country. It is such poor quality now that the stuff doesn't last five minutes and I am sick of the colours running out of the stuff after a few washes and the zips breaking.:mad:Next looks better quality stuff now,it's just the name I don't like though, doesn't quiet ring the same as Laura Ashley,or John Lewis.:D

Hope you all have a great day:)

    Good morning everyone,

Looks like you are all still in bed this morning:D

Anyway, had a lovely evening walk with Mr Kandy last night and it was lovely to see so many stars out:thmb: then spent a delightful evening watching our favourite programmes before bed:)Nothing nicer than watching programmes about otters and seals:D

It is damp and cold out there this morning with no sun so will see what later on brings:).

    See you all tomorrow probably:)

haha, no not in bed Kandy :) Nice relaxing evenings like that are good aren't they?

    Good morning everybody!

Was setting up a new installation of PhotoShop - and it took hours and hours - downloading the trial version for 30 days to give it a shot in designing some hoody designs for some customers who want something other than the standard designs we offer. Need to get an office copy of InDesign put on my laptop when up at head office next time.

A cold one here this morning - little flurries of snow, a nice slippery layer on the road!

A day on the phones for me at home here (working) - other than running eldest out to the hospice where he is going to start volunteering there today with his brother.

Have a warm and safe day everybody :)

    Good morning everyone,

I have a very busy day today - office work, organising events etc - boring!! :hehe:

Steve, I guess it will take a very long time to get the bridges sorted out :(. How are the shops in Cockermouth getting on?

Kandy, it sounds as though you are feeling a little better. As you like otters and seals etc you might like this thread I put up yesterday.

    http://www.gardenerscorner.co.uk/fo...tch-this-without-smiling-t25603.html?p=380610

Natalie, using Photoshop is too time consuming for me :), although I did a course on it, so I don't bother to alter any pictures. :hehe:

    Have a great day :D
