Good morning Jazmine, woo and everyone,

Jazmine, it is always recommended that the pressure washing is done around this time of year to get it ready for the winter. Then the algae/moss etc has less to get a grip on. I normally do it now, in Jan/Feb if it is not icy and then in May. :thumb:

woo, good luck with the fatsia battle :)

    Have a great day :D

Good morning penny, woo and everyone,

It's raining here and I'd left the pressure hose out to continue today :(. I managed to get about 200 sq ft of the worst area done :thumb: but there's a lot to go. I'd also planned to cut the very long grass in the orchard area and Mrs shiney had picked up all the windfalls but it will be too wet for that now.

The sun has just come out but it is still raining . If the rain stops we shall go for a walk in the forest :) (I don't do walking in the rain unless I'm forced to :hehe:).

    Have a great day :D

    Evening all. :)

Glad everyone is well- Shiney I hope you enjoyed your walk in the rain and cold and mud and wind :D

Woo how is the fatsia today? Is it still putting up a fight?

Penny the weather here has been wet, cold and grey- we had to go out in it to do some last minute shopping for Mats Birthday tomorrow, then over to my parents so Mike could take his partner and little lad to meet them, then back to theirs so OH could get the heating going, home, wrap pressies then over to Mats to deliver them :old:

Better than sitting here bored I guess...:gnthb:

Good morning woo, Jazmine and everyone,

As the rain didn't stop all day we didn't walk and nothing got done in the garden.

Mrs shiney made green tomato and cherry plum (from the hedgerow) chutney to add to all the different chutneys she has been making during the last couple of weeks :thumb:. I amde a big batch of bolognese sauce that can be adjusted to be used for bolognese, chilli, cottage pie etc :).

I shall be out running a workshop this morning, and, possibly, attending (as a witness) a disciplinary meeting this afternoon :(.

Jazmine, happy birthday to Mat :gnthb:. I hope he is feeling OK now.

    Have a great day :D

Good morning penny, woo and everyone.

woo, enjoy your walk :thumb:. I think the fatsia will take the opportunity to dig in even more. Don't overdo things and take it steadily.

I got some of the mowing of the very long grass done yesterday. It was so wet that the mower couldn't throw it into the grass box and it kept getting jammed under the canopy :(. I picked a load of apples and pears and bagged them up for sale at the club this afternoon.

I still haven't caught up on my paperwork so shall start on it shortly.

    Have great day :D

    Good morning everyone.

Hope you are all ok.:yez: We have just got back from being away for two weeks and I must say it was't one of the best holidays I have ever had and am just glad to be back home:yez:

I had that sickness bug overnight before we went away so Mr K had to ring our holiday destination and put it back one day and even after that I still didn't feel too good until the middle of the first week:p

We had lots of rain and then when we decided to go up Snowdon on the train and walk back down we had c rap weather and ended up with Mr K stumbling on a rock and badly spraining his ankle:oops:.:(Because he hobbled three miles down the mountain after he did it by Sunday his foot was up like a balloon and by Monday it was bruised from the toes to a quarter of the way up his leg.I finally managed to get him to see someone about it who confirmed that it was a sprain and the swelling and bruisn g was due to him walking on it.{I knew we should have got Prince William to rescue us in his helicopter:yez:}Anway,we spent a good part of the holiday stuck either in the car or the caravan enjoying listening to the rain drops falling on the roof..not:p

We did have some sunshine so was able to go for small walks later on and at least we did a good deed on the way to the Snowdon Railway Station,we came across two old dears with a flat tyre,so Mr K spent some time changing their tyre which they were most greatful for:yez::D

Anyway, we are home now and I am spending time getting everything cleaned ready for our next trip away and Mr K has gone back to work today so I won't have him under my feet so to speak:D

Will catch up with you all as and when I can so hope you all have a good day/week etc:yez:

    Hello one and all :)

Woo I hope you enjoyed your day and the Earl Grey - OH used to call it "perfumed tea" We like it now though.

Penny have a great time in Toronto :)

Shiney, I think Mat had a good birthday most of it was spent in the pub from what I gather :D I hope you sell all your bags of fruit.

Kandy I thought you had disappeared- I asked a few posts back if anyone had heard from you so you were missed :hehe:
We did Snowdon on one of our trips to Wales. We took the little train up and it stopped three quarters of the way up on a little bridge due to bad weather- it was soo windy and I HATE heights and started to panic as there was a sheer drop down. I was so scared.
The scenery as you approach Snowdon is stunning. Hope you both recover soon.

Today I am at home - makes a change :p
