    Gooid morning Woo and everyone,0)

Nice to see some more new faces on here:thmb:

Woo we have rain again here this morning and some of my pots are full of water as I put crocks in the bottom of them to cover the large hole and what with the amount of rain we have had the pots are full of water and I am worried my bulbs will drown:oops:

Shiney, that is a lot of people to Mrs Shineys Lunch.I don't know how I could have coped with being surrounded by 650 people in one go and I pity the one having to do all the cooking:D

I managed to get the lawns cut and edged yesterday afternoon but the grass was so wet it didn't look too good by the the I had finished. Our front lawn was covered in worm casts and I can't remember why the worms do that so will have to do some research as it makes the lawn look a mess.

I also started bringing in the pots of bulbs and plants that I have had standing outside all summer that need frost protection so they are in the greenhouse and I also noticed thta some of my Christmas cactus plants have flower buds on them so they will look nice soon.:yez:

Hope you all have a great day in all that you do:)

    Good morning everyone,

It's a bit dull out there today but I hope to get a little more done in the garden. No breakfast for me :( as I have a starvation blood test at 11 o'clock. It's my fault it is so late as I forgot that I intended to ask for a blood test. :dh:

Kandy, the worms make a mess of your lawn just to upset you :hehe:. I think they are in league with the ants in my garden. We have lots of house plants out in the garden - ones Mrs shiney has propagated or people have given us - and nowhere to put them indoors .

Woo, I've got my suntan lotion all ready for the next few days. :thmb:

Nuts, enjoy your fishing tomorrow. :gnthb:

    Have a great day :D

    Good morning Shiney:thmb:

Sorry to hear that you got the times wrong for the blood test,I bet you will be starving by the time you get back home.:yez:

Mr K has just rung me from work to tell me that some idiot has pulled too far out of a side turning{He was in work mode}and scrapped the side of the car so now it is covered with red paint stripes:mad:Mr K has took all the chaps details and now has to ring his insureres to get it sorted. The chap works for Fords in the same town as Mr K works in so that chap will get them to sort his car out.I forgot to ask Mr K if the other chaps car was damaged grrrrr.:(

Have a good day and hope the results turn out good.:luv:

    Good morning everyone,

Woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep so thought I might as well get up:D

Mr K got in contact with his insureres about the car damage so is getting that sorted.Good job he took photos as well of the damage and will be glad to get the car looking nice again:)

It is pitch dark outside at the moment so don't know what the weather is doing although it did look dry when I had a peep out of the bedroom curtains earlier.Good weather is forecast for the weekend so hopefully we might get to the allotment so I can get the winter broad beans sown before we have all the snow they have forecastf or this coming winter:D

Hope you all have a good day:)

    Good Morning everyone.0)

So sorry I've not been about the last few weeks :o. It's been chaotic at home, and I don't feel like I've had a moment to myself. :flag:
We've been having all sorts of work going on at home, and didn't have any heat for a few weeks as we ripped out our old fireplace. But we have installed a lovely new log burner, I've never been so warm!! I now have the lovely task (probably after Christmas) of totally redecorating the lounge. Eeek!
The gardening is still coming on fine, my potatoes are positively thriving!!! I'm really looking forward to trying them. Fingers crossed they taste ok! :hehe:

I am hoping to be about again a bit more now, I've missed chatting with you all.
Hope everyone's doing well. Have a great day everyone.

PS, It's a right peasouper outside today!! Should be warm later!!:thumb:

    Good morning everyone,

O2 and Joolz, good to see you you both back on here 0). I hope you are well :gnthb:.

woo, I'm sure you enjoyed your walk with the girls on this lovely morning :thumb:

Kandy, the forecast down here for the next few days is warm and sunny and I think that the weather will be the same up your way. So you should be able to get a lot done :thmb:.

The sun should help dry out the grass by late morning and I shall get out there to do battle with it later. The nurse took a whole armful of blood yesterday (well it seemed like it :hehe:) but I don't feel too lopsided. :)

    Have a great day :D
