    Good morning everyone,

woo, we've got that Malaysian jungle feeling here as well. This is Mrs shiney wandering down the garden :hehe:

We had rain in the night but when the mist clears it should be nice and sunny again. I'll then get more mowing done.

Oscar really enjoyed the sunshine yesterday :gnthb:. He had been in hibernation for the last week because of the rain.

    Have a great day :D

    Good morning everyone,

A bit dull out there at the moment and we have conflicting forecasts. One says sunny and the other says rain. I think I'll take the sunny one. :thumb: :hehe:

I hope to get more mowing done today :gnthb:.

    Have a great day. :D

Morning Woo and everyone, hope its a nice day again today. Goes to show how much more sunshine you've had than us Woo, my roses only bloomed once this year but they are in bud again at the mo. Will need a good few days of sun to make them bloom again. The weeds are thriving though.:dh: Hope you all have a lovely Sunday :thmb: 02

    Good morning Woo,02 and everyone,0)

It is the 10/10/10 today which only happens at certain times in the calenders:D

Sounds like you are quiet busy in the garden Woo,my roses have been blooming all through the summer apart from my Peace rose and I have primroses back in flower which adds a nice splash of late colour to the garden:)

02 we have quiet a few weeds as well{nettles}as we made some of our flower borders a bit wider this year and the top soil we had delivered must have been full of weed seeds as they have been germinating at a cracking rate:(

Well we had cold windy weather all day yesterday with no sun and it looks dull this morning.Mr K is watching the Japanes Grand Prix and after I have typed this I am going to start getting the dinner veggies prepared and then no doubt we shall head for the allotment to do some work:yez:

Hope you all have a great day Sunday:)

    Good morning everyone,

Yesterday turned out to be a nice day again. We took out all the rest of the tomato plants, cut down all the blackberry bushes, picked some runner beans, picked loads of cooking and eating apples (cooked some for the freezer, bagged some for sale, gave a lot away to the old people in the village - Mrs shiney delivered them), did a load more mowing of the knee high grass where we have loads of wild flowers that have finished seeding.

I'll carry on with the mowing again today. I shall have to take out my deer defences before I mow along the back fence and then replace them. Then I shall start on trimming all the lawn edges. Once that is all done the garden will start to look neat again :thumb:. We have already started cutting back loads of plant foliage for the winter and there are some nice clear spaces without tatty leaves that are dying. The shrubs are also getting their autumn haircut.

    Have a great day :D
