    Good morning everyone,

I have been out early this morning helping Mrs Shiney set up her stall at the Christmas Fair in the village. I'm not sure they will get all that many people there but we shall see.

I'll be popping back there in short while to help her :gnthb:.

    Have a great day :D

Trying not to spend too much time ont he computer at the moment which I think is helping my back to get better so all for the good.:D

We have had some rain yesterday tea time so it looks like all our snow has gone but won't know until it gets lighter.

Woo how is the snow condition down your way, have you still got plenty of the white stuff?:)

Shiney hope Mrs Siney's craft stall went off ok and no doubt she will have sold some nice pieces:)

Have another stew on the go this morning in my slow cooker so only have to dish it up at lunch time:D

    Evening everyone
I have had a lovely day today part of it being spent at my brothers with the family as it is his birthday today. We had some lovely food too! I also visited both sons and spent some time with the little man. It did me the world of good :):el-t:

Shiney I hope the stall went well and the weather didn't put too many people off. It is thawing here at last and I am glad as the paths have been treacherous. I had to walk to the GPs and the path was awful so I came back across the green - braving the snow was easier than the ice.

I hope you all take care, there have been some sad stories on the news lately.

    Good morning everyone,

Kandy, I'm pleased you are getting better - keep it up :thumb:

Kandy and Jazmine, the craft stall didn't do all that well as not many people came along. They hadn't done enough publicity for it. Mrs Shiney still managed to sell a few of the smaller pieces.

Woo, take it easy if you go for a walk. We don't want you falling over. :)

The frost is very heavy this morning and all the trees are looking pretty covered in it. Yesterday was a very nice day and all the snow and ice had disappeared by early morning. I managed to get out in the garden, in the sunshine, and get quite a bit done. I've put a few photos on 'What's Looking Good in December' :gnthb:.

Today is mainly meetings. I've arranged one of them for 12.30 in one of the pubs in the village - tough life, isn't it :hehe:

    Have a great day :D

    Good morning everyone.

Been up since after six but have been busy doing other things so have only just got on here. The time seems to be flying but I seem to be doing everything in slow motion so it seems:D

Jazmine sounds like you have had had a busy weekend with your family over the weekend and I bet you are all looking forward to Christmas with them all:)

Shiney sorry that Mrs Shiney never did as well as expected with the craft stall. We went into the town on Saturday afternoon to see if we can get some new walking boots for Mr Kandy and there wasn't as many people about as we usually get at this time of the year so I think the weather and economy is keeping people away unless they are doing all their shopping on line so they don't have to venture out:D

I will have to go and find your photos and see what you have been up to in the garden:thumb:

Hi Jenny,it seems starnge Cornwall having frosts as you are so much further south.:DWhen we have been down to Minehead this time of the year we have taken photos of Daffodils in full flower on Christmas day:cool:

I have had to go and get all the bird feeders in and they are now defrostin int eh airing cupboard as we had a -5c frost last night so although we have a good haw frost with everything looking pretty.I would love to go and get some photos round the village but I seem to suffer with the cold more now and my feet are frozen and I only went out to get the feeders in and put some stuff in the dustbin:roll:

Oh and by the way,we went to the allotment yestreday morning and dug up loads of carrots, celariac, parsnips and beetroot so won't starve for the next few days:D

Have a good day everyone, and if any of you see Woo flying about tell him to get back to his nest and to keep warm:lol:

Popping back in.......they announced on the news that they have closed schools in my area, no buses today.

Kait called me awhile ago, she's 3 hours away and they have closed all schools in her City including Colleges and Universities today.

And to top it all off, i am waiting on our friend to show up with his camera to find the blockage in our plumbing, its backing up, and Brad snaked it lastnight, and its blocked somewhere out under our new sidewalk, so they will most likely have to dig up out there, to fix whatever the guys broke out there!!
