Good morning Woo and everyone,

Woo the bed gave us both one of the worst nights sleep we have ever had and just sitting here typing this post if i cough my lower back goes into sapsm.:roll:Under the guarantee we have 28 days to reject the bed but for me this bed seeemed the right one when we tried it out in the shop.I think Mr Kandy will have to choose one that suits him and I will go back to sleeping on the settee.Failing that we shall have to drag yje settee upstairs and turn that into a bed:DMr Kandy has also taken the old bed to the tip so can't even use that one:roll:How are you getting on with your new bed?

We had some more snow yesterday so everywhere is white again but don't know if we are going to get any more today now as the weather picture has changed from the one from the other day.

Its not as cold here today, and its not snowing at the moment, but calling for it again later today.

Thats great that you got a new bed, Kandy...............hopefully you'll get used to it......we bought a new one back in the summer, and i love it.....my husband laughs at me, because i almost have to jump on our's to get in it, its so high!!

Kandy, what a nuisance about the bed. It sounds like you both have different needs in the mattress department. Have you tried a tempur mattress? I expect you have but don't know what to suggest really. Sleeping on the settee isn't much fun, that must be uncomfortable too.

Last night we babysat and didn't get home until 12.30am :roll: Little man came down twice "nana Kath I have a sort throat" "nana Kath I need some medecine but OH took him back the last time and we had peace after that!
What a day here. I broke another tooth :cry: so had to vist the dentist AGAIN and now I need a crown so it will be done in the New Year. 200 pounds please!
We then got a call to say youngest son was at the hospital with a fractured jaw [don't ask!] so we went chasing back there. I would like one quiet day, just one...

Just popped in to say hello to everyone.:flwsml:

Ive been in tremendous pain over the last few months with my back again but with visits to the chiropractor have helped.:thmb:

I was told my pelvis was tilted perhaps due to holding myself awkwardly due to the pain, which he has now pushed back into place which at first caused even more pain.:cry:

Now I am pleased to say I feel so much better and feel there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Also due to start my pain management at the hospital in the new year.:yho:

So things are on the up for me at last. Now I can sit comfortably in my computer chair I will be able to bob in more in the future to say hello and see how you all are.0)

We had -7c last night and freezing fog so have a lovely Haw frost this morning which will look pretty when it gets light:D

Woo beautiful photos of the snow down your way.:thumb:Mr Kandy went to see his dad yesterday morning and he has had more than us and that was only due to a heavy snowfall Saturday evening,but at least it looks like a Christmas card scene like yours doesThe bed is still taking some getting used to and has to be turned every week and we have twenty eight days to decide whether we want to keep it or not but as part of that agreement have to have matress protectors on the bed.How is your new bed working out?

O2,Glad to hear that your back treatment is starting to work on your condition and hope you can at last enjoy the christmas celebrations:thumb:

Penny -23 is a tad too cold for even me,brrrrr.I will put up a photo of the new bed and we have to use a laddder to get into ours as well:hehe:

Jazmine sorry to hear about your broken tooth and hope your son starts to feel better soon.The jaw problem sounds quiet nasty:(I have been told that the bed will need some getting used to and has to be worn in so to speak,hence the having to keep turning it once a week.It was the only bed that was firm enough for both of us.The good side of it though is that I persuaded Mr Kandy to let us have a down and feather duvet to replace the cheap ones we bought years ago so now each night I am like toast in bed,nice and warm so have been able to do away with the extra blankest and rug on top of the bed,but the downside for him now is that he is too hot:lollol:

Its warmed up some here, so its not so bad out today.

We had a BUSY weekend, heck it feels like we didnt have one!!

I'd love to see a picture of the new bed, Kandy........I'll take one of mine later today and post it here for you to see too.

 

Hi Penny, here is a photo of our new bed complete with Uggy the pedigree cat that has adopted us:D

After Christmas we are going to get a Valance which will go under the mattress and will cover up the bottom of the bed that you can see.The headboard and quilt cover etc are new as well as we thought it would be nice to have new stuff instead of the old sheets etc we used to have on the old bed.

Its going to be a nice day here, its snowing some, but not as cold, so my daughters are heading out snowboarding in awhile.7

I like that new bed, Kandy, it looks so cozy, and Uggy is adorable.......
Here is our new bed, its solid pine, queen size, pillow top mattress and the frame was made ny Mennonites.

O2 I am pleased you are feeling a bit better and hope you can get on here more often when the pain management starts.

Woo they are lovely snowy photos-our snow is thawing a bit but some more has been forecast. I don't like all the icy paths though.

Kandy and Penny, nice to see the new beds. Penny I like that display on the wall. I have seen them here [or similar] and liked them.

We got our tree at last, a real one from B and Q down to 5 pounds from 30 pounds! It just about touches the ceiling and I will try to get a picture on, also one of my dads 80th birthday and one of Thursford. Did anyone see it on the TV - William and Harry attended one of the shows.

Sorry not been around much but have gone down with that horrible sickness and diarrhoea bug that is going around at the moment.Twelve hours of it plus a pounding headache and aching body with shivers.:(

We were supposed to be going away this week for xmas and the New Year but had to cancel it due to weather conditions (-10c where we were going to} and now this bug so have had to forget it for this year.Mr Kandy has taken the caravan back to storage after unpacking all the stuff and I feel exhausted so can't do much.He is going to have to do all the xmas cooking for the first time in thirty years of marriage,just a shame that i won't be feeling like enjoying much of it.:roll:
