Running late this morning as I have been busy pricking out seedlings and as they are a bit fiddly to do it has taken me some time.{these bxxxdy smilies are a nightmare}

Dry here this morning and it looks like the sun is just starting to peep out so will go and find something else to do now.

Oops i didn't see your post before mine,i could have sworn there was only Woo's post when i scrolled down the page

Mr Kandy is fine in the teeth department thanks but he isn't looking forward to the root canal filling to be done next week.It is his ankle that is giving him jip and it is a good job we cancelled going away last Christmas to Derbyshire because I don't think we would have walked that far especially in the snow...

We don't like the smell of the burning food at all Shiney as they always remind us of Crematoriums.Our next door neighbour is fanatical about them and cooks every night on theirs throughout the summer in hail, rain, and shine but up where we live we have more breeze than sun so we are surprised he hasn't burnt his house down yet A friend of ours cooks her food in either the oven or under the grill first and then adds it to the BBQ fire which to me seems a waste of time.{Large smiley face with teeth}

I think its nice that because of BBQ's families get to gether more rather

Running a bit late again today,Actually managed to have a lie in but that was because two nights last week were a bit rubbish and i couldn't get off to :sleepy:

We have been over to our local farm shop and got some fruit and veggies that we can't grow {Satsumers,Large Celariac and Swede} and then sat and got our holiday booked for this year.Lots of people are block booking the weekends from Easter until October so unless we go Monday to Fridays can't get in to the sites we want to so have had to have a rethink on where we go this year.I think people are turning to having their holidays at home waht with the economy etc as it is.Just got to save up for it now

Shiney,my smilies have suddenly got longer and i do like this one :gingerbreadhouse: and this one :pickflower: and i do see what you mean about typing the other bits .I never thought of doing that :blush:

Lovely sunny morning this morning hooray. Trouble is if I put the washing out it will bring on the rain! So I shall refrain myself and enjoy the sun!

Woo we are lucky we don't hardly hear the neighbours as we have a triple drive between us and them and the new people do their own thing so don't bother us at all.We have heard though that the people that live in the semi's can hear everything that goes on with thier neighbours as the walls are thinner so the sound of everything they do travels through the cardboard walls

Anyway, we have been for our walk and got some fresh air,cough cough,so after finishing this will go and put the Turkey joint in the oven and get the veggies etc done.Mr Kandy has a dodgy tummy today due to too many onions and baked beans he ate last night for dinner so better not give him any brussels today

Looks like you are all still in bed

Didn't want to get up this morning but finally dragged myself out from under the duvet and made a start on the day :P

I've been outside in the front garden gathering up the leaves that fell of my cherry tree in the Autumn and have uncovered lots of bulbs and my Aconites that are getting ready to flower in a few weeks time and i also have white buds on my Snowdrops,and the Chritmas roses are all in flower bud as well so it looks like Spring will soon be here Just poppped indoors to have a nice mug of hot chocky and a piece of toast to keep my energy levels up so will go back outside when i have finished on here. :D

Woo Mr Kandy got the new printer working ok now.Once he gave it an address or something like that it was ok.He has printed off some of his Waxwing photos as well so will be sending them down to Devon along with mine now i have got some packing sorted.We are really pleased with the quality of them.
