Good morning woo, O2 and everyone,

woo, I'm sure you will enjoy today and I'll join you for a cuppa :gnthb:

    Kandy, Happy birthday :yho:

woo, your pictures seem to have disappeared

We had a good day yesterday at the pottery and ceramics show. Some lovely pieces there :thumb:

I was going to do some gardening when we got home but the whole place was covered in flying ants. I counted them coming out of 27 different nests in the front garden and didn't even bother to count them in the back garden. I couldn't pick any runner beans as the air was full of them and the ground by the beans was crawling with non-flying ants. There were a number of wasps walking on the ground and being attacked by the ants.

I'm off to a meeting in the nearest town shortly so no gardening until this afternoon.

    Have a great day :D

Morning Woo, that cup was most appreciated thanks. Maybe tomorrow you could have my breakfast ready? :D

No sign of Kandy, she must be enjoying breakfast in bed! :luv:

Morning Shiney, I don't like the sound of all those flying things...We usually get flying ants here for a day or two then they vanish thank goodness. I bet Mrs. Shiney loved the pottery show. Did she buy anything?

Well I am off to eldest sons today (working) I need a holiday as I am coping with three houses at the moment. :lollol:

Good afternoon everyone and many Thanks for your Birthday wishes:luv:

Jazmine no such luck with the breakfast in bed:pIn all the years I have known my hubby he has never once done that and has only ever bought me flowers twice and that is only because I have nagged him first.:D

Woo,love the thought of a nice cup/mug of something, make mine an Earl Grey or a chockky drink:D

Shiney sounds like you have had a busy weekend and will be busy today as well.Sorry to hear about your flying ants.I remember you having that problem last year as well:(

Well today,I have been up since quiet early and have been chatting to friends on the phone, answering text messages and been to the allotment with Mr Kandy to water all the veggies/seedlings and have just had another friend pop round so have been quiet busy today already,phew...

Yesterday we drove up to Dovedale in Derbyshire and had a lovely six mile walk alongside the river Dove and on the way back got some nice photos of a Dipper feeding on the water so that was nice.:D

Got back home feeling tired but glad that we had a really nice day out:)

Hope you all have a good afternoon:)

    Hi Jazmine,
Mrs shiney only bought some copper carbonate to use when she is making her glassware but really enjoyed herself. :thumb:

    Hi Kandy,
It sounds as though you had a good time in Dovedale and are having a very sociable birthday. :gnthb:

The flying ants are always a nuisance but this has been the worst we have seen. Fortunately they are only a nuisance for a day. So I went out and picked 15lb of beans this afternoon. I'm now picking about 10lb or more every other day. :yho:
The koralik are growing well but have very spindly branches and small cherry tomatoes. I'll let you know how they get on.

You girls don't seem to have trained your hubbies properly. I know my place and what I have to do. :hehe: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Kandy you haven't trained him well . Mrs Shiney has got it right. Shiney does what he is told, I have seen it for myself :hehe:

Here is RSPB Strumpshaw before the heavens opened! They seem to be doing work to improve areas.

    Good monring everyone.

Rain here this morning thankfully so at least I don't have to do any watering today so it will give my back a nice rest:D

Shiney, yes it was lovely up in Dovedale and I said to Mr Kandy we ought to go up more often instaed of the parts we do in the winter months. We have walked in a lot of the dales over the years and I would like to go and see some well dressing as well some time:D

Those flying ants sound horrible.Mr Kandy got bitten on the leg five times the other week over at the allotment and once on the side of his face so was scratching for ages despite putting cream on them:(

Jazmine,I don't recognise your photo and seeing that it is in Norfolk I am pretty certain now we have never been there:p

I have found that the women who wear the trousers in the house{the boss} get the breakfast in bed and us pasif/pacif{can't remember the spelling}quiet ones are the one who do all the fetching and carrying and looking after the boss of the house:flag::D

Hope you all have a good day:)

    Good morning everyone,

We have some lovely heavy rain at the moment :thumb:.

I've a lot of paperwork to get done this morning and then the bridge club this afternoon - where I'll sell all the runner beans :gnthb:

Yesterday was a very busy email and telephone day. I spent about four hours with both :(. That's why I didn't get any paperwork done. With a bit of luck there won't be too much in this morning's post for me to deal with. :)

    Have a great day :D

    Good morning everyone,

It's not very bright out at the moment :hehe: but the rain has stopped. The garden really enjoyed the heavy soaking :thumb:

I've got through a lot of the paperwork and think I'll have a short snooze before carrying on. :snz:

    See you later.

    Have a great day :D

    Morning Shiney,Shiney and everyone,:D

Shiney I was still awake when you were at your machine typing I should have got up and said Hi so you wouldn't have felt lonely:ywn:I then dropped off at six when Mr Kandy got up but then came to again at 6.30 so got up and have been getting creases out of clothes since seven:p

I typed out a long email to a friend and sent it off as I thought but the computer was doing updates which finished as I was sending the mail so the computer went off and restarted up and now it says the mail can't be found so looks like i have lost it:(I shall have to redoit but it will have to be a shhorter version as I can't sit here for ages doing it all again:p

It is sunny here agian this morning and although we had some rain yesterday it wasn't an awful lot so still having to water all the toms and peppers at home and then will have to go to the lottie today and water all that stuff.

I had a walk to the duckpond yesterday and found the last four fish that wouldn't be caught all dead as the last of the water has now gone so I am so glad we rescued all those fish as all of them would have perished:(I have found some photos of the pond of our village pond when it used to look nice and you will see how it has now been wrecked by those dogooders:mad:

Anyway, best get on and hope you enjoy your sleep and have a good day:)

PS have weighed myself this morning and have lost another lb in weight so that is 35lb altogether, but mr Kandy has put on 1.5lb so he is not very happy:hehe:
