Evening friends, I am glad some of you are managing to get out in the garden or allotment. It is still brrrrrr here and as my back garden faces north I don't want to venture out there yet!! I have got a few plants started indoors, OH was not impressed with the compost mess.

Went to WW today-10 and a half pounds lost now, still more to go :D
Tomorrow I am house sitting for my son but will be with their dog so I am happy. She is so sweet and gentle bless her.
    Have a lovely evening.

    Good morning everyone,

Good weightloss Jazmine, keep up the good work  I put on a few pounds over the winter but have kept my new shape so will see what the nurse says next month as to how i am doing :D Sorry to hear about your North facing garden. We get all the sun in the front in the morning and then out the back in the afternoon which is pleasant in the summer months although i have said to Mr Kandy that the next place we get i would like a South facing garden,.but whether i get that is a different matter altogether :rolleyespink:

Our sensus form arrived yesterday all 32 pages of it but i did like the purple and white paper it is printed on :D If the info is going to be kept secret for 100 years then how will it benefit anyone as no one will know what the answers are for 100 years :P :heehee:

Bitterly cold out there there this morning so will have to wrap up warm when i venture out, brrrrr :heehee:

Hope you all have a good day :)

    Good morning everyone,

It's a bit nippy and windy out there but nice and warm in here :thumb:

I had bad cramp in the night so am hobbling about this morning but it won't stop me from going down the pub to meet up with a friend for lunch :D

I have to go into the nearest town this afternoon to help Barry with his census form.

    Have a great day :D

So sorry I haven't been in but just seem to have been dashing in & out recently..
Yes it is a worry about rosa.. I think rosa was a very gentle person she always used to be such a happy soul but the split was very hard I think & I know things were not as amicable between them as she would lead us to believe so that worry is always there too.. I really hope someone hears soon...

 Anyway, have a pleasant evening everyone & sleep well...

Well, it was nearly a nice day - the outside temperature was 52f but the wind got up and spoiled it. The sun came out and went back in quickly followed by showers!! But I stuck my oldest clothes on and pressure sprayed the inside of the Greenhouse with Jeyes Fluid - and came out coughing, but at least I know I've got clean lungs now!!:rolleyespink:

    Good morning everyone,

Armandii do be careful when you are spraying chemicals in the greenhouse :P

Marley,Shiney,Jazmine,I have heard from Rosa.Had a letter come and in it she says she is ok and looking forward to spending time in her garden when she gets her settlement from her soon to be ex hubby so is going to get some fencing put up and a summerhouse for the bottom of the garden. She has got herself a new camera so will be taking piccys to put up on here and also for when she goes abroad for a much needed holiday within the next few months.Rosa says hopefully soon she will have her broadband up and running so will be able to get back on here.

I also spoke to her on the phone and was just about to read out your messages when she asked me to ring back later as she had a friend with her in the house.I rang her back that same evening but just got a message saying she was unavailable and to leave a message which i did but haven't had time to ring her back :P

Yesterday was sunny but windy with rain showers on and off so after Mr Kandy got home from work we drove out to an old disused railway and walked 3 miles{round trip} along the cycle track. We saw a nice family of Long Tailed Tits but they wouldn't keep still long enough for a decent photo :P When we turned back we timed the walk and did 1 1/2miles in 25 minutes which was quiet good :D

Dry and sunny out there today but don't know if it is cold as i haven't ventured out there yet. :P

Hope you all have a good day :)

    Morning everyone :D

Kandy I am so pleased you heard from Rosa, her ears must have been burning! Thanks for letting us know and I hope she can get back on here soon.

I had a lovely day yesterday, spent at my youngests house-I stayed for the day and did some jobs for them and doggy sat. When I sat down for a rest Princess jumped up on my lap, curled up and went to sleep so I didn't have the heart to move her.

The sun is shining here :dbgrtmb:

    Good Morning everyone,

That implies that you may have some clothes that aren't old. You can't be a member of the 'Grumpy Old Men's Club' then. :heehee: I think I bought some clothes about 20 years ago :loll:.

Kandy, say hello to rosa for me :dbgrtmb:

I've got to have a word with the manager of one of the Tesco stores as someone with a mobility scooter was told he can't park the scooter inside the store whilst he hobbles around with a trolley doing his shopping. The reason given is that it is an obstruction although it was parked against the outside of the wall of their cafe and definitely not in the way of anyone.

Lots of other things to do before I do battle. :heehee:

    Have a great day :D

    Good morning everyone,

I'm just catching up with the news and the horror of what has been going on over in Japan with that Earthquake. It seems that Mother Nature has decided to reek havoc on this planet this year.I just hope that nothing bad happens with the nuclear plants now they seem unstable. We also have the moon getting closer to Earth in the middle of the month{19th i think}and experts reckon thta it might affect our weather so hopefully we will get a good summer as i could do with some vitaminD to help my bones :D

I will see if i can get hold of Rosa sometime today if she has a break from the pub at some point :D

Hopefully we will get some good weather today so that we can get either on to the lottie or out in the garden as the lawns could do with a hair cut :P

Hope you all have a good day :)

    Good morning everyone,

It's a little bit dull out there but not too cold and not even a breeze. :thumb:

I'll do a little more work on the lawn edges around the patio today. They should be nice and sharp and deep by the time I have finished. It takes a lot longer doing around the patio than along the flower beds. I have to move the gravel out of the way (between the edge and the patio) to cut away the soil that has accumulated there. This gets put in a bucket and spread back on the garden. Then the gravel is put back. I hope to finish around the patio this weekend. :dbgrtmb:

    Have a great day :D

    Morning :D

Another mild morning, had a drop of rain in the night too.
I don't think we'll see much sun today but no matter, yesterday more than made up for it :dbgrtmb:

    Enjoy your day, everyone :)
