Yawn ... wakey, wakey ...

Good morning everyone! It bucketed during the night and this morning it has been raining on and off. Still, it was badly needed down here in Portugal.

LofL phoned last evening, they will be back here about 4-ish. She said that they had plenty of rain up there too, coming down from Santander. Hope that the roads are clear for them the rest of the way.

Hope that you find someone to get you shoulder sorted out Kandy, it is very painful and a hindrance. I flew off my bike about 15 years ago and broke my right elbow, had a cast on from my fingertips to my shoulder, first (and hopefully last time) that I ever broke a bone. Fortunately I am a bit ambidexterious so I got by more or less OK.

Rosa, how are you today? Over your baddies?

Yes, that is really awful about poor Windy, do hope she manages to get something out of those lying bandits.

Must fix a bit of lunch and see if there is anything else I can do before LofL and t'other arrive.

hi kedi-gato, getting over the worst not too bad, not long now and they will be back, say hi from us lot at gc.
yes thats terrible about windy very sad and upsetting she is gutted, dont blame her in the least, she probably feels like screaming unless she already has, the annoying part is she works damn hard to have been putting that little extra away each week to build up for her familys christmas, just very sad.

 

Just having a quick look on here,sorting thru clothes to go to the charity shop,you know i have just realised i don't have a dress or skirt to my name .Jeans & trousers only !What a shock these lot would get if i appeared in a dress.Well thats enough of me rabbiting on bout nowt .back later.xx

Morning Rosa Gogs and MF.I have found the address of a physiotherapist in the phone book down in Little Cransley,so might give her a ring.
Rosa,I think it is next weekend we change the clocks,and it usually is the last weekend in October...We put them back so we get an extra hours lie in...

We now have fog here.It will make up it's flipping weather.Still I suppose that what you get for living high up in the clouds.Our village is nicknamed the Windy Village.No wonder I need so much hairspray on me head

 

gogs still got this cough, when i get into bed the coughing starts and the pain is a little uncomfortable and have a good cough when i get up.
just looked outside well when i can look out all the window is steamed up, get condensation every winter, need new windows got a new bedroom window what a difference, well looks damp and miserable out there, going to have a good laugh mid november my neighbours downstairs are putting all their xmas stuff up yes you heard right and putting lights up at the front every one will be laughing, far too early. :D :D

 

hate doing the clock thing as i have 3 bedroom, 1 spare room, 1 kitchen and 3 in lounge what a pain my latge one i hate taking it off the wall in the lounge you can see i love my clocks.

 

Rosa,sorry to hear about your cough still being bad.Does the council own your flat?It must be a pain if you get steamed up.Are they double glazed or just very old?

I cannot wait until December 1st because up here is when the first lights go on and it makes the village look so pretty
