Morning from sunny Portugal! :D :D Our thunderstorms and heavy rain seems to have moved on to Spain now so our forecast is good for the next few days so I'll be out and about pottering today.

    PS I like DO'D! [IMG]

hi all, been a busy little bee this afternoon my daughter just moved into her fathers cottage and i went to give her a hand cleaning, hoovering etc, spotless now, then i am going to go up and paint, they had it rented out for a few years and what a mess they left it in, they had cats and you could smell them in the carpets, how can anyone have cats and let them pee in a house when they have 2 kids and a cat flap.
The kitchen thay had painted bright yellow and the lounge is bright orange the fire place breast and skirting boards bright orange yak no taste, so its getting changed to a nice warm cream and the dark beams are getting left, pleased they hadnt painted them.

Hi Rosa, you have been busy. When Mr Kandy's sister bought her house nearly 30 years ago,the lounge walls were a deep pillar box red colour, and the bedroom was done in a dark mauve colour, and the owners couldn't understand why no one was interested in buying it.
I bet it will look nice when you have finished it for her.Is it far from where you live?

she is just about 10 minutes drive at the other side of town to me, wouldnt mind living there myself it is on a corner site with a smallish garden but very private, the garden is also a bit messy ,will give her a hand next year with hanging baskets and maybe some window boxes and the lawn needs some sorting out its a bit muddy out there.
