Yawn ... wakey, wakey ...

    everyone will be driving to the midlands for their xmas tree, in america they have a large tree farms and they give you mulled wine and have horses and carts real christmassy they make getting your xmas tree a real event, do they do that at that tree farm.
    I have some before pics of the cottage so when it is all done will be taking some more.

    no i suppose you can drive to the tree farm and collect one but they will probably be shipped around local shops and markets..you can buy mulled wine in supermarkets now..They have a german street market in birmingham for a month before xmas its really good and they sell mulled wine and schnapps and german food..so you can drink while you shop HIC !!..Will be sat in the street smoking and drinking mulled wine .. :D

    I boght mulled wine last year and never had any do you think it will be ok to use this year.
    shame they dont do that like the americans, wonder iff penny does that in ontario guess they do it there.

    yes it will be fine they keep wine for years..you can buy your own mulled wine spices in the supermarket now they are in the spice section..buy a cheap bottle of red wine and make your own..
    I suppose i had better go now and hoover and clean up! the dog needs feeding as well..

    gogs might have the mulled wine this year, do you just heat it up in a pan.

    gogs..yes it tastes nice you can warm it in a cup in the microwave or do it in a saucepan..we lived in germany once and they used to sell it on all the street corners in the winter it warms you through..and its quite sweet and pleasant.. ;)

    think i have 2 bottles that i bought in morrisons last year, definately have it this xmas eve mmmmm warms you up just thinking of it.
    my xmas cupboard is full to the brim and have had to put large tin of roses and quality street on top of my fridge freezer at least they will be cool up there. :D :D

    nope...no snow here yet...had some but it has since melted and its actually nice here today...makes me wish i was outside!!
