Shiney.Do you think you can come and massage my neck and shoulder. It has just started aching, and is getting worse.
I think I am getting too hunched up over the keyboard,or else I got a cold in it during the night.

I have just been out in the pouring rain, yes rain to rescue a small tiny sparrow from a cat that was playing with it in the garden.
I have wrapped it up and put it into a box,but I think the shock will kill it.
I will go and have a peep at it soon.

    Hi Kandy
I've just looked into Wakey wakey although it is nighttime and had to comment. You probably need to cut down on the computer time.

It was good of you to rescue the sparrow - has it survived. You should always have a bottle of Rescue Remedy handy. This is normally used for when you get upset or had a shock - plus lots of other problems. You can buy it in health shops. Mrs shiney uses it quite often for rescued birds and it helps stop them from dying of shock. Put 2 drops of remedy in a glass of water. Then make sure the dropper is empty and use the dropper to put some drops of the diluted remedy into the mouth of the bird. If the bird won't open its mouth then dip your finger in the water and rub some, gently, on its head and feet.

I can't remember Mrs shiney having lost a bird from shock for many years. some years ago a friend phoned us and Mrs shiney rushed round to treat a kingfisher that their cat had brought in. It was a fantastic irridescent blue colour and the inside of its mouth was bright red.

Hope your neck and shoulders get better soon.

    Morning to you both.

Sorry to have to report the bird has gone to the great aviary in the sky.
I will have to get some of that mixture Shiney. One of it's legs was paralysed,so it wouldn't have been much good anyway. It was only a baby as well.

Fantastic about the Kingfisher.Actually it is my favourite bird, mainly due to the fantastic blue colour, and blue is my favourite colour.

I think you are right Shiney.I shall have to cut down the comuter work.Perhaps only coming on it say once a week.
I couldn't lay on it in bed last night, though it is much better today.

Rosa hope you have a great day when you wake up and get over your hangover

Gogs, sorry to hear about Paddy.

Kandy, I'm pleased you are feeling a lot better. I shall have to cut down on my time on the computer as well. As my dial-up is so slow I am spending too much time on here. It would be different if I had broadband but it isn't available here - and there is no cable either so I can't go through them.

That makes two of us Gogs.We only drink to be sociable, and then that's only white wine. They all drink like fish in this village. No wonder they have all got big motgages.

They must be over the limit still when they drive to work.No wonder there are so many early morning accidents round here.

Have a good day in all you do.
