Yawn ... wakey, wakey ...

Hi, rosa. They've been here two weeks tomorrow but are not staying with us. They're at a resort in Alvor, about 30 minutes from us. We've been meeting up every other day and today is the last time.

We plan to go up into the hills and find somewhere nice for lunch. There's a lovely village we like that has a stream running through it and an ampitheatre so we'll probably head there. It's only 20 minutes away but it feels like you're worlds apart.

Candi is back to normal now, thank you. Hope Little Rosa is well.

pleased candi is back to normal, rosa is fine she seems to have stopped that cough she had so i am guessing the medicine worked i do hope so as it would mean further investigation, keeping a eye on her iff it starts again will take her back to the vets.

Well, Gogs, we have a wonderful log fire going and it's lovely and warm and all the furry critters are curled up in various places.

Kedi-Gato and hubby picked us up today and we drove up into the mountains and found a lovely restaurant where we (Sis and I) had char-grilled chicken and salad and the guys had grilled pork steaks, lots of thin ones is how they do it here.

Then we came back here, had coffee, chatted and kissed goodbye as they fly back to Germany in the morning via Majorca as that is the new route Germany-Portugal-Germany and vice versa. They will come back for a couple of months in the Autumn, rent a housef or something.

K-G sends her love to you and is hopeful hubby will get them on broadband when they get back so she can get back on here.

Morning everyone hope you all have a good day,,i suppose i had better get dressed and get some work done shortly..o/h has been up ironing for an hour now.. :( :( ..

 

You could have told me he had the iron out, I'd have sent my K2 size pile up for him to do!!!! :D :D :D

 

He does all the ironing i think he likes ironing :D i can hear him walking around putting things away as he irons them.. :D If he goes away anywhere i just leave the ironing till he gets back sometimes it looks like a mountain.. :D :D suppose i had better move myself..

 

If you recieve a giant box from Cornwall, you know I've sent mine up!!!!!!! :D :D

so much for the snow blizzards we were supposed to be getting, had a little snow last night.
