Morning Marley and Woo.Well the weather is exactly the same for us as it is for you Marley.Wet wet and more wet.I am fed up with all this wet stuff.I expect it is making up for all the loss of water last year, but I bet that water bills will still go up and we shall be on another hose pipe ban across the country :(

Hooray my smilies are going where I want today :D

Woo,I need to emigrate or should it be migrate down to your neck of the woods. It seems drier in the garden of England :D [IMG]

Morning all, weather not too bad at the moment, part blue sky but some grey clouds speeding over with a very strong wind, so anything can happen! :D

Got school run this afternoon combined with a trip to the tip, so not exactly a fun day today! :D

Hi Kandy, not so sure about the little ones, they are 16 and 11!

One of their dogs (Georgie, the mother of all of them) has strained the ligaments, and vets bill is expected to be Ã?£740...... [IMG]

Guess who is going to have to foot the bill!

    Well said woo,
I travel a lot but would not want to live anywhere else - although sometimes there are places I would rather be at particular times. When it was pouring earlier this morning I got a phone call from a friend in Hawaii saying they were sitting on their lanai (balcony) watching the whales having a whale of a time [IMG] [IMG] That's when I think I'd rather be somewhere else [IMG] [IMG]

They have a lovely place but 365 days a year of hot sun is not what I want to live in. They get half an inch of rain a year but the other side of the island gets 105 inches a year! Their temperature is usually between 85 and 100 degrees but twenty minutes drive away it is 60 to 75 degrees and wet - AND a 45 minute drive can put them in snow for a lot of the year. The real downside of where they live is that you can't grow all the plants that we love here. But it's a great place for a holiday. :D

Bye for now, things to do, places to go, people to see. [IMG]

Good morning woo, Marley, Kandy, DAG and shiney!

Hey woo and shiney, don't knock foreign lands, please ... at least, not in earshot of me, thank you!

You get all of those things you mentioned, woo, in the UK ... and we don't have poisonous snakes here!

It's 14 degrees and sunny but rain is forecast. We went to 19 yesterdday and I took a break from painting to get gardening done! Good me, what has got into me?

Off to the big city of Portim£o today. We have three cities .... Faro, Portim£o and Lagos, all ports and about the size of a small town in the UK but they have city status!

Have a lovely day what you do everyone!

No offence taken, woo! But you still get all those things you mentioned in the UK (maybe not tropical storms). There are certainly more foreign languages there than in the European community, most of which I can't understand! :D

As I said, we don't have poisonous snakes here which is a blessing as they frequent my garden and even my house!
