    Good morning everyone,

Kandy, I hope you're feeling better soon.

My first job this moaning is to go out and by two new garden forks. Both of ours broke yesterday!    I suppose I could try and buy some fork handles but not from the two Ronnies. :D :D I've still got lots of plants to move before the digger arrives next week.

Kandy, this is what I was talking about yesterday
    in my PM
    [IMG]

I've got some that are a deeper red but no photo.

This is my red one?Sorry that it might be blurred but it is windy up here and I couldn't get down properly to take the picture. The leaves are right for a cowslip, but the top flowers are wide open which doesn't seem right, though the bottom flower looks right....
I have also included a photo of my broken spade,we must have brought them from the same dodgy shop....Also a couple of photos of my waterlogged border, and you think you have problems..My digger has just gone off to work but will be home in time for tea....

Kandy, When you break a spade you really do it! My forks only broke at the handle. I'm not bothering about new handles as the forks are very old.

You are right, you're flowers seem too open for cowslips.
Have you thought of having a swimming pool instead of a soggy garden? [IMG] [IMG] :D [IMG]

Off out now. Places to go, people to see......

Morning woo ... wonderful picture of Gypsy! :D

Morning Marley, Kandy and shiney. Lovely pic shiney to start the day to a cheery start.

    Take care today, Kandy.

Lovely start to the day here, 16 degrees now. I've got to start another painting today so probably will let the garden just bake in the sunshine!

Have a nice day one and all! [IMG]

Good morning Woo.Nice to see you up with the Larks this morning.I see some of your friends oe relations have joined you, though it is a shame I will no longer see your smiling face. Ah well [IMG]

Hope you have a very enjoyable day in all you do

Shiney,Mr Kandy broke the spade trying to remove a self planted Hawthorn Sapling and it bit back.We had all our Wilkinson Sword tools stolen from our allotment shed{which was padlocked} and we couldn't by replacement WS tools as the garden centres had stopped supplying them because they became to expensive....

I will have a swimming pool as long as you buy it for me.I would love one of those endless pools, but our garden is about the size of your moss bed..well slightly bigger :D

LoL,I feel much better today Thankyou, though I didn't sleep well again.I have heard on the grapevine it is going to be beautiful weather all weekend. My weather station says it is 4.c with just a cloud in it's sky...

Have a good day everyone and enjoy yourselves [IMG]

Morning woo (nice grouping), Kandy and Gogs.

It's a beautiful day here and already 15 degrees.

I would have slept like a log woo if your screech owl rellies had not been wee-ooing in the wee hours. They seem to do it night and day now ... it is mating season?

Glad you're feeling better this morning, Kandy.

Have a lovely day one and all!

    Good morning everyone,
The sun is just coming out. I hope you are feeling better today, Kandy. I went out and bought two forks yesterday (digging and border) and shopped around for them. I ended up with a couple of cheap ones from Homebase - they have their 10% discount sale this weekend. I didn't bother with stainless steel because I never bother to clean them anyway. I did see some WS tools on sale but can't remember where [IMG]

Sun is now shining brilliantly so will be out there doing some more work. I've taken a few photos so I can show off with how well I'm getting on with tidying up the flower beds, but don't know where to stick them!!!  :D :D Although parts of the lawn are still waterlogged some of the flower beds are quite good. When I've downloaded the photos I may put them on here - if they have come out OK.

Good morning to myself this morning..Wish I could get a lie in :(

Shiney glad you managed to get a replacement for your broken fork.We replaced our spade that afternoon and yes we did get another stainless steel one because with stainless steel the mud comes off really easy and doesn't stick like the other sort, and with the steel ones the blade slices through the ground easier.

In the old days they would make the fork or spade out of one piece or forged steel, which made them last, whereas now they are two pieces welded together,so there is a weakness, where one piece is welded to the other...They don't make things to last in this throw away society we now live in.Plus it is a good way of making more money out of the mugs like us that have to keep buying them...

You probably saw the Wilkin sword ones in Harrods, because the insurance assessor, told us that they were selling the range of tools for £100 each for the fork and spade, but I am not sure if that was true or not at the time...

Phew, anyway hope you all have a fantastic day in all you do [IMG]
