Good morning Kandy and all that follow. I have managed to escape marriage and I'm quite happy on my own. It is lovely to hear though that people do have lengthy marriages in this day and age where the younger people don't give themselves a chance.

This weeks weather is set for a dry week. Its supposed to be a glorious day in England and Wales. Scotland dry but rather cool.

    Have a grand day everyone.

    Morning Loobylou,
I too am happily single, but I admire anyone who can make it through a lengthy marriage unscathed and with all their faculties still intact :D :D My parents only met 4 times before they married, they were penfriends as my Dad was in the Navy....even though they've got zero in common, they must have something to last nearly 40 years!!
So it's Ruby?? I'll have to google Roses or something as a prezzy, there must be one called Ruby Wedding!!!
Oh well, better get ready for work....very inconvenient having to work when there's sooo much I could be doing in the garden!! :D

And on that note, my boyfriend and i just broke up.

It wasnt fireworks or anything, we've just drifted apart in interests, and we just dont feel we can support the other in long term persuits, so it was relitively mutual and peaceful, but it stills hurts like burgery.

Its been 3 and a half years, and i'm feeling overly rubbish about it, just trying to distract myself. Today we're moving the flat around to have seperate bedrooms, trying to think about the fact i dont have to clear up after him and can have a girlie room.

We are so close, we'll no doubt be best friends for a very long time to come if not forever.

    Just need time i guess.

Morning Kandy, Marley, mirflores and Whiley. Where's smiley and woo?

Hope the weather is fine for the fete, Marley.

Sorry to hear yuor news, Whiley. It would be nice if you stay friends rather than there be bitterness.

Having had a good rain earlier this morning, it's lovely and sunny now.

    Boa dia para todas!

I am so sorry to hear this, Whiley, and I imagine how bad you must feel.
But if the reason why you were together is not there anymore, the wisest choice could actually be what you just did, however cruel this advice may sound.
The main thing in the end is to feel content within yourself, as: Whiley is the person that you will be together with, your whole life...

Morning Kandy. I thought you were going away for a break, or is that this weekend?

    Is woo's broadband down again?

It's a lovely crisp start to the day here, sunny and 13 degrees but we'll only go up and three or four through the day. We lit a log fire yesterday afternoon as we felt cool! [IMG]

Have a lovely day one and all!
