Hi Shiney.I had a quick look at the plant you are talking about but I recognise it but cannot put a name to it.

I will have a guck look in my Perfect Plant Perfect Place book that Roy Lancaster has written and see what he comes up with.

The birds are just starting to sing. They are a bit late this morning.I love your Cowslip photos.I have taken more photos of my plants so will have to get them up on here. You are getting better with the camera as they are now pin sharpe or else it is a new camera  [IMG]

Hi Kandy. Yes, the birds are now getting quite noisy. I heard one of our pheasants about 10 minutes ago.

It is still the same camera. I had to take loads of photos to get those sharp ones. The camera doesn't do close-ups all that well unless the plants are perfectly still. There hasn't been much of a breeze lately. We have lots of different coloured cowslips.

The plant we are trying to identify is definitely a cultivated one but haven't found it in any books yet. Someone said it was a cultivated version of the New Zealand cow parsley but it doesn't appear to be that.

Have a good day. [IMG] [IMG]

Morning all and nice to see you back here, rosa.

After our few weeks of lower temps, we went to 23 yesterday and only down to 16.5 last night. It's 18 already so must get outside things done early.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
