    Goodmorning everyone, lovely sunny day here, makes a change from the last 3 days of rain! Got college this afternoon 'Plant Kingdom' this is my 3rd module out of 9. RHS exams next Feb and June!! :D

    Morning everyone,looks like I am talking to myself again as usual :D

    It is grey looking out there at the moment but at least we had some rain yesterday so the garden and allotment got watered :D

    Good morning everyone.

    nicsdad - good morning to both of you but you must stop arguing [​IMG] and remmeber we are all listening to you.

    I've got a busy day today. I have a meeting with the builders today about plumbing and electrics. Then I shall be taking my computer apart to chnge and add things - DVD rewriter, a USB 5 port PCI card :eek: and a USB port and a 320 gb external hard drive (that was on offer at Ã?£39 just when I decided I wanted one for backup [​IMG] ).

    Then I've got to do the shopping and preparation for a load of visitors on Sunday. The menu is:-


    Menu of the day:- (subject to availability of quality products)

    Butternut Squash, Chick Pea and Coconut Milk Soup
    A delicious blend of ingredients, lightly seasoned, that is a delight to the palate.

    Smooth Chicken Liver Pate
    Chef's homemade pate with a hint of brandy served with freshly toasted bread.

    Chilli con Carne
    A richly flavoured beef chilli served with fluffy Basmati rice.

    Chicken Cous Cous
    Shiney's combination of chicken, root vegetables and many other flavours cooked slowly and served with cous cous to give an authentic taste of North Africa.

    Mrs shiney's Superb Chocolate Pots
    with a delightful difference

    Frshly picked rhubarb gently cooked with apple juice and a touch of heather honey and then folded into a light sponge

    And by popular demand:-
    A wonderful combination of fresh mango and strawberries
    finished with a hint of liqueur.

    Shiney I shall be there at 12.30pm but make mine Roast Beef with Roast Potatoes,Carrots,Peas, Cauliflower and Yorshire Pudding oh and don't forget the gravy :D And for dessert I would like Ice Cream please with a couple of flakes sticking out the top :D [​IMG] If I ate all your menu,I would weigh forty stone,not the twenty stone that I am [​IMG]
