Lovely morning here, almost 20 already. I may just lie in the sun and read for a while today.

The sky was heaving yesterday morning with folk coming in for the holiday week (being a Bank Holiday you only have to take four days holiday). We are not necessarily on the flight path ... the Quinta, the rich area is ... but sometimes due to the direction of the wind they come over us. Usually it's three within 15 minutes every hour. Yesterday morning there were about eight in quick succession ... I would not have wanted to be in the airport! Today it's quiet.

The folk on the Quinta (nothing under a million) bought there because it was convenient to the airport, 15-20 minutes. Now there are lots of cheap flights and more frequently, the folk are complaining to the airport authorities that's it's too noisy and they need to accept fewer flights or re-direct! :D :D

Morning LoL, that sounds like a good idea reading in the sun, you must be having a break from painting, i,m just waiting for an e-mail of a horse to paint, so having a little break myself.
we are on a flight path they come in from denmark and spain and the london flights come this way and do a u-turn over into newcastle along the coast. have a nice day

how lovely you will get some great pictures there, we are planning a 6 weeks trip in december, starting in thailand going to cambodia, pattaya, bangkok and off to calangute, goa for 2 weeks then finish back in thailand for the last 2 weeks, looking forward to it and there is 6 of us going together.
