Morning Rosa,enjoy your strawberry picking.I think they all rotted down here because of all the rain we had over the fruiting time.You might say it was a wash out :D Have agreat day and I hope you get some good photo's

 

Morning LoL,Woo,Shiney etc.Thought I had better pop back on and say Good morning as I normally miss all the late arrivals :D

I have just been out in the kitchen making myself a nice Chicken salad for my lunch.It is nice to be able to step outside and pick some fresh lettuce and chives,and hopefully Runner Beans Beetroot Toms and Cabbage when they all get going :D

Morning all read in the paper yesterday that we could have a frost next week even in low lying areas, how devastating will that be , already making plans of what's coming inside, sheesh what next.

morning walnut, kandy, LoL and everyone, crikey frost i hope not, the weather here is fab these past 3 days, went strawberry picking yesterday got some lovely photos, having a drive to aldi this morning for a few bits, will have my camera in my bag, its goes everywere with me these days.

Hi everyone, its been soooooo hot here the last few days and its cooler though today, which is nice cuz the girls have a soccer game at 9pm tonight(2am your time), so that will be alot better to play in.

Good morning everyone,well I suppose we had better get ready for a price hike on all farming produce, the warnings are trickling through about crop failures due to all this bad weather, I'm sure even the rice growers will jump on the band waggon.

 

Morning Walnut and all posters,Thanks for that information,the poor hard up farmers in their over large farm houses will look for any excuse to put up the cost of the vegetables.I wonder if they do that in other countries,or whether it only happens in the uk :rolleyes:

A friend of ours who used to visit farms as a pest control officer told me some time back that the farmers were paid to plough the crops back into the fields to keep the prices up :(

It's going to be warm here today as we are nearly 25 already at this ungodly hour. We're going to about 32 ... 30 is the kickstart temp for both cicadas and air conditioning.
