Hi everyone,Thankyou all for your get well wishes.I am still feeling quiet rough though the sickness has now subsided.

The Doctor says I have picked up some sort of bug and he also thinks I have a bladder infection after doing one of those dip stick tests{Why do they always ask for a water sample when you have already been to the loo :rolleyes: }

I am now on Antibiotics and have to go back to see him next week for confirmation of the water test after it comes back from the Hospital

Mr Kandy kindly helped me to unwrap my pressies as I don't have the energy at the moment :(

Walnut,Thankyou for the photo I will appreciate it much better when I feel ok again.

Hi, walnut, it's me again. I thought of you as I was reading the paper yesterday and forgot to say this morning (but I am a bit dim in the mornings as you well know) ... the annual around Portugal cycle race started last weekend, 1600kms, I think.

What a silly month to do it in ... but you'd love it, I'm sure, mad person that you are.

Started off in Portim�£o (near me) and ends up North-ish Saturday. I think it takes a week.

Bet they are skinny beans ... no skinnier beans ... than when they started! Makes me perspire thinking about it! :rolleyes:

I seem to be going backwards with this bug so feel dreadful this morning.Started eating a bit of food yesterday and didn't feel too bad but by the evening my tummy sounded like a distillery with all it's gurgling.I had a restless night with it and now have problems the other end which I won't go into,but you can use your imaginations :eek: :( so now I sit here trying to write this and feeling **** :(

I think I will ask Mr K to get me some Lucozade to see if that will help settle things or else drink a bottle of coke.
