Morning walnut and Helen, and everyone

walnut, you're very organised. I probably won't think about preparing for winter until November  :D

Helen, I'm pleased you had a good day. [IMG]

It's a beautiful sunny day today and Aimee is sitting on the floor staring up at me with that 'isn't it time for a walk yet?' look. I'm gradually getting used to this dog sitting thing :D The last few days I have taken her on a one hour brisk walk each morning - with stops for her to socialise or bark at other dogs - and a short walk in the afternoon and at night. She seems to think that I'm doing it right [IMG] . This morning will be different. She'll have a brief walk soon and then at 10.30 we are meeting up with a group of friends for a, gentle, walk until lunchtime. She loves people so should enjoy herself. I hope we are doing everything right with her. She is staying with us until next weekend when we hand her over to someone else as we shall be going away.

    Have a great day :D

Good morning walnut, Helen, shiney and woo.

Goodness walnut, it's almost 26 degrees here and you're talking about frost!

Pleased you had a nice dinner and a giggle, Helen.

shiney, you will be fit as a fiddle for your holiday ... I thought it was August you were going!

Dear woo, thank you for the pictures. I remember the old bridge well but the new one does not look familiar ... but then again it's 12 or more years since I was there.

I've suggested to t'other half that we go back to our old stomping grounds of 1983 onwards for lunch today ... this afternoon's pictures will tell. [IMG]

    Have a lovely day everyone.

Hi all, looks like your doing the right thing by Aimee Shiney, I dog sit for next door when they take her out for a walk she makes a beeline for our house.Woo there's quite afew jokes about Sheerness
    Islanders views on demolition required
The whole of Sheerness needs to be treated as a toxic waste site
The whole of Sheerness needs demolishing and a better plan done, a one that works,
borough council office in Sittingbourne for sitting on the mainland miles away making decisions ruining the island for us?
The Police Station, nobodys ever home so it won`t be missed!
Tesco's Why build the doors on the seaward side? The winter can be a bit snotty on this coast, great fun for the elderly shopper...
Sheerness, as a whole. I suggest we cut it off mainland Sheppey and sink it.
woolworths every thing else has gone no mcdonalds,no burger king no kentuckey, that shows the state of our town.
I'm sure things are not that bad, have a safe day everyone

Good morning folk. Another bright start to another bright week!

Must pop to Lidl today as they have these retractable clothes lines ... I hate clothes lines (in particular whirleygigs) so the less visible they are to me the better.

Enjoy whatever you may do today.

Morning Woo,Walnut,Shiney and all you late risers. [IMG]

Woo that looks like a lovely place to have a bite to eat and maybe something cool to wash it down with!

Shiney somebody's getting you trained well....it's true what they say "it's a dog's life" :D

Lady I just brought one of those retractable lines but I'm going have to keep my spinner line as I'm a lazy old mare and only wash once or twice a week!

    Have a nice day people!
