Morning all!

Blimey lots to do today, i'm going away for the weekend to visit my grandparents in Basingstoke where i grew up, and sad to leave Devon but only for a bit. I always get low when i leave Devon, i miss the seagull sounds and the smell, its much richer and earthier.

So i've got some treacle tartlets in the oven to take on the journey with us, need to tidy up the rat room and go and see my neighbour to ask her to put put on the heater for them tomorrow night and make sure they're food and water is all topped up while i'm away!

Then its time for packing and setting up for weed killing > :D
I've been looking forward to this. Mwahaaha!

 

I am so blessed! I've just been out chatting with my neighbours who have lived here for 40 years, watched Darren grow up and loved his mum to bits, and they've really taken a liking to me.

Not only have they said they'd look after the rats while i'm away this weekend, but Chris is worried about my back, so insists that he helps me do the bulk of the weeding and pulling upping and the soil sorting! Hes even going to powerhose the side of the house and the drive for me to make it all nice! I'm so excited and just feel like crying with how blessed i am.
Boyfriend funding all my tinkering with the garden, letting me go as mental as i like with it, and neighbours who want to dote on me like a grandchild.

Wow how my situation has changed in the last year!

Haha! Brilliant! I was the Easter Bunny in Exeter last year, and went around giving hugs and chocolate to children as part of a sales thing. It was mental, but i'd do it again!
