Great start to the week but now sadly gone right down the pan...blood works 'normal', drugs not working, tried driving this morning found out I can't..... no puns from the guys about lady drivers please......stalled the car twice on a very busy junction I was struck in the middle of the road when an ambulance came rushing by with siren and blue lights flashing no less before I gave up not going to try driving anytime soon again! :(

Had my docters appointment yesterday which was so very soul destroying my doctor seems to have an habit when seeing me to always keep holding his head in his hands while shaking it and saying 'It's not what I thought it was' not a good sign ....... it seems he has now given up on me and has finally admitted I need to see a spinal specialist thankfully I don't have to wait long I'ave an appointment book for 7th December so just maybe I'll have a jolly christmas after all.

Helen, dont know what to say, but its about time you were seen by a specialist, I hope he has all the answers, you should't be going through all that pain

Ok so its not morning but i am yawning

It was fresh but pleasant today, as was 'Robo' at the garage who kindly put my Jeep back together :D

Alex planted last of the bulbs today for me - bless him they had to go in in a particular sequence owing to the different sizes, i am expecting to be surprised in the spring :D

Thanks guys for all your kind words hopefully we will have a jolly and pain free christmas or at least I'll stop moaning about the chuffing pain....what's that cheering I hear? :D

Anyhow still not done any christmas shopping yet and I know sooner or later I'll have to start as lucky me :eek: I'ave got plenty of little ones to buy for and that includes Bob's mum.....five foot nothing and a little fire cracker and still going strong at nearly 80!

Helen,I do hope you get seen to quickly.My Dr didn't want to refere me to see a specialist until I had been in chronic pain for three months,and then when I did get to see one the appointment was rushed :eek: Lets hope you have a good outcome to it all.

Marley,I am looking into one of those lightboxes as I talked about it on Non Gardening Discussion.I have heard of full spectrum energy saving lightbulbs but don't know how good they are.

My birth town was shown on the BBC1 news this morning because of their lack of xmas lights compared to the West End of London.Well I am not trecking all the way down there and getting squashed just to see some fairy lights.For some unknown reason we have got BBC London on the telly this morning,though the two dishey men they had on there were quiet lush,though I didn't really want to know about the City weather.

going to my eldest daughters today, her baby is due 6th dec, shes having another boy, we were hoping she might of had him before i leave 6th same day.
