    I hope you have a great weekend. today will be a bit hectic for me. Lots of last minute things to do - and going off shortly to walk Aimee.

    windy - have fun at the fair but make sure the kids don't have to carry you home.

    Welcome for yesterday, Sunrise and princess and enjoy GC.

    rosa - I haven't been into 'mystery object' because I don't have a lot of time spare time and have to decide what I don't look at. It takes much too much time moving around GC.

    It looks as though it will be another sunny day.

    Shiney also put on a post in edible gardening about Runner Beans.My hands are so cold I having trouble typing.Give my love to Aimee and Mrs Shiney and all the birds plants and flowers,oh and not forgetting the Triffids [​IMG] [​IMG]

    My eldest started secondary school. Brought quite a lump to my throat as she toddled off to get the bus all on her own. [​IMG] Brought another lump to the throat when she came home with a 6" tear in her trousers and a busted zip on her school bag!!! [​IMG] [​IMG]

    Shiney.Just had a thought.You can pick up all us Sugar Babes on the way up to the Lakes.I'm sure we would all enjoy you giving us a guided tour,and we will even have a whip round if you do a good job.

    I think we need a "Ask Shiney" thread as you are so knowledgeable,what do you think?

    Windy.I think we have both missed Shiney.I went off to watch the sun come up.I think he hsa got a lot to do with packing up everything for his trip.Looks like he will have good weather,which is a bonus I think,although it can be nippy in the mornings.

    I wonder how they manage to wreck their clothes just by going to school.I would love to be a fly on the wall so to speak.

    I can just imagine it Windy rolling down the hill

    I haven't been out for ages so I just hope I can make the bend at the bottom of the hill! Otherwise, Mrs.Lugg's going to get a shock when I bowl right into her lounge :D :D [​IMG]

    Windy :D :D :D :D please don't make me laugh so much,or else I shall have another bad headache.It took me all day yesterday to get rid of the last one.I need cheering up though,everyone is going/gone away,I feel so lonely...No I don't,I've got all my good friends on GC to keep me going until they all get back.Yipeee [​IMG] [​IMG]

    Kandy - I won't need to worry about it being too cold early in the morning. We have a leisurely breakfast and then don't leave the hotel until 10.00 a.m. for a 10.30 walking start. We are on holiday!!! :D :D

    We walk at just the right, slow but sort of steady, pace in order to get us somewhere nice for a light snack at lunch time. A lot of the time I arrange the timing so that we stop at a pub or cafe or even a farm. It's a hard life being on holiday!! :D :D

    I've started my Lake District thread. Just going to add another photo before I walk Aimee.

    Might see you all on 'Nighty night' if I have time tonight.

    I don't think I could walk that slow.We have always walked quickly,apart from when we take the pictures.We have been known to walk a good nine miles in a day,though I expect when we retire we will walk slowly like you [​IMG] [​IMG]
