Kandy I don't know about you but when I miscarried the hospital put me in the same ward as all the women that was having abortions that week, as you can imagine it made my experience all the more heartbreaking with me wanting my child so very much.....at one point the cleaning lady even took me for a mum-to-be who was in for an abortion you can imagine how upset I was about that! :(

Thankfully all that is behind me now and I cherish my boys so very much and realise how lucky I am to have them.

Helen that is how insensitive the Hospitals can be.It was in the early eighties when we were having our infertility treatment the same time that the Waltons had their six.You never forget,but life has to move on.I spent 2 1/2 years doing voluntry work three evenings a week at the same Maternity Hospital as well as doing a full time job and running a home.So I have done my bit

Bit late a for a mornin but good afternoon :D just got back from training in the rain, felt like Bing Crosby i did :D

 

Morning all.

Thought I would have an early night last night (10.30pm) so I would awake refreshed for the specialist later on this morning and once again my poor back had other ideas.....so as you can see I'm doing the 'waiting game' once more, at least I'll be able to catch a few more z's in a hour or so.

Oh dear Penny that's a big price to pay for those beautiful surrounding you have there.....I don't think I would be able to cope with temperatures like that!

Morning everyone,had to get up because we are being battered by very strong winds and heavy rain at the moment and the house was rattling.Not a good day for anyone having to go out in it :rolleyes: And the forecast is for more to come

Penny I don't envy you with the -15 temperature,we used to have them in the early eighties when we first got married,even the car lock would be frozen and the car door would be stuck fast,happy days...

Nice to see the Interest rates have gone down for once,good news for us mortgage people
