Good Morning Whiley Dee and Shiney [IMG]

Whiley I think that women tend to share their problems more with their female friends then men do.They tend to bottle things up and bury their heads in the sand  :D

I expect we should really do our chatting about our health problems behind the scenes so to speak by PM or email but I think if we all did that this forum would start to dry up and people would start to drift away. [IMG]

But it is nice to come on here in the mornings to read the trials and tribulations of members everyday lives whether it is building work that members are having done like LoL and Shiney have had done this year, myself and Helen with our back problems,You yourself with your hair colours and dress styles,Rosa with her talk of holidays to Goa and the lovely time she will have over there,Marley Farley with her Grandchildren and Penny with her snow in Canada, Shiney with his 'Oscar' problems,Woo with his night flying and oodles of more things that members get up to in their lives

So for me,I enjoy reading the posts and offering advice where appropriate, though sometimes it isn't always listened to and I do hope that you and everyone else does to

Sorry if I am boring you all to death again [IMG]

Hi kandy, no your not boring us, we need the banter, as there's not much happening in the garden, we have to keep Gc going, so what better way than to share our problems, tell a few jokes, a few political "discussions" which i know nothing about, so i keep my gob shut :D ..

[IMG] Nope Kandy, all the banter is intersting.. A problem aired is a problem shared as they say... [IMG] These dreary old days are long enough, so always nice to pop in & see who's up to what.. :D

    Good morning guys and girls.

Always nice to have a moan and groan with you guys at least you lot can always switch me off unlike poor Bob. :D

Walnut it's arthritis and the only thing that they can offer me at the moment is a relaxation technique to reduce the pain and muscle tension he told me to try the technique at home but I can't seem to do it, maybe I should try putting something calming on my MP3 player and try that.

I have also tried not taking the morphine in the mornings when I get up and have a cuppa then go back to bed but that hasn't worked maybe I'll be able to do that soon.

I'm being a lot more active than I have been lately but boy when it comes to the end of the day I'm in an awful lot of pain but I'll still keep going and maybe in time it will pay off.

Kandy 'they' did want to do a MRI on me but I have a little problem....I suffer from claustrophobia I didn't know about this until I went to a Cornish Tin mine some years ago and screamed the place down! so unless it's really necessary I don't want to go down that route I would hate to imagine how it would be for 40 or 50 minutes in a tight space just thinking about it makes me shudder!

    Helen.xxx.

Good morning Helen and Walnut and all my other friends all have a lovely Sunday and stay safe ,Helen yes I was also not happy with enclosed spaces so they gave me a sedative and some music It was the most relaxed I had ever been,It wasn't as bad as I thought The fear before hand was far worse than the actual scan,I promise you.Take care everyone. I don't know why you keep your gob shut  . A lot of us know nothing about it either (neither do some politicians [IMG] ) but it doesn't stop us [IMG] :D

    Have a great day :D

    Good afternoon all,

Kandy - i agree with what's been said. it's great to come on here & have a moan, laugh or whatever.

Shiney - You're right about 'not knowing'. never stops me :D We can all learn something too.

Helen - i don't know whether to be pleased or not about your treatment. I'm with you on the scan bit - i hate enclosed places, even having too many people around. I wish you the best, that's all i can do.

everyone, this is a great site.

    cheers
