Yawn ... wakey, wakey ...

Evening all,

well my New Year was rather nicely and calmly spent! We've been watching Lord of the Ring and i've been painting again.

I havent got my blood test results yet, i get them tomorrow i think. The surgery was closed today and when i called yesterday the receptions didn't tell me, nevermind.

I also start my new job tomorrow! I'm feeling a bit less hurtie now, so i think i can manage it. Its only 5 hours a day so thats fine for me i think.

This weekend i'm hoping to visit a garden centre again and pick up some bits for the garden, maybe even start work tackling it if the weather looks promising. Either that or my growing shed which is going to be magically transformed from our skanky conservatory. Want to do some goodie old propegating in it :D

Wish me luck on all accounts, any suggestions over what to sew this weekend? Or is it still a tidgy bit early?

Woo I'm all for 'a good and Healthy 2008' even if its only aided by the drugs at least I can get about an awful lot better and there will be so much to do after the cold snap that is forcast has gone.

Whiley I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you girl regarding those results glad to hear you're feeling a little bit better.

I'm sure Whiley if you can sit through Lord Of The Rings then 5 hours at work will not seem too much longer than watching the movie because correct if I'm wrong that film is about 2hrs 50 minutes long!

Anyway good luck and as Woo says keep wearing that smile and your 5 hours at work should fly by.

Anyway Dan's rode the bug and is feeling much better now but maybe it's because his g/f Gemma is staying over....oh how sweet young love is, I can just about remember how it is ! :D

Morning Helen and all,Whiley if you get any seeds with a propagator you will have no problem germinating them but you will have to have somewhere reasonably warm and bright to grow them on as the weather this time of the year precludes both,if you want to experiment to see what you can get away with(i'm all for it)just plant a couple of seeds out of each packet make notes see how they go then next year depending on your success you will be all the wiser,I will be finalising my seed list today but the bulk of my sowing will be next month by then there will be more room in my light box, have a safe day everyone.

Woke up this morning around 4am and looked outside and thought b*gger that I'm off to bed with my drugs in tow and of course a fluffy water bottle to ease me back to sleep.

It's snowing quite a lot now which is a worry as we have to go into Sheffield early this morning for Bob's check-up, I hope we don't get a double up because one of the last times we went there we got stuck by the floods!

Don't blame you for going back to bed Helen. I would have done so myself but was expecting a breeze block delivery to finish the g.house floor. Good job I didn't 'cos they arrived at 7.15 just as I got nicely settled in the smallest room.

 

I let my snooze alarm go off 7 times this morning.

How bad am i?
But i always manage to time it so i have my brunch, time to shower, find some clothes, sort out the rats and have 10 minutes on here :D

Still feeling dodgy though so want to go back to bed. Meh.
