Three weeks before we moved in together (we had three dates which included a hot chocolate and donut together) then four months before we married ... didn't really want to rush things and t'other half was only 18. :D :rolleyes:

blimey LOL, i thought we'd been pretty quick! we've only been together since august last year and have just moved in together. Glad to hear that it does work and that when you know its right, just go with it!

T'other half's mother hated me as I was the "older woman" stealing her precious son away ... after a few years she became my dearest friend as my own mother had died aged 35 when I was 7. Mum died aged 89 ... and t'other's half's Dad was a gem and a half who loved me and me he from day dot.

Congratulations Glen to you and your bride to be, congratulations to you LoL on your forth coming Ruby it will be mine and mrs Walnuts Ruby later this year she's still the love of my life,my son had been courting about 5years last year at 38 yrs old brought us a wedding invitation for 2 weeks hence married in a registery office 12 people present a nice meal afterwards best wedding I have been to, daughter planning to marry this year but wants a big do will not get off so lightly, have a safe day everyone.

Congratulations Glen it does indeed seem like love is in the air and no better time with spring closing in (?)

My love story is the classic had to get married or else with a little bambino on the way, my mum hated Bob on sight and that's one reason why we became estranged she always said we would not last and was always bitter that I was the child that got away.

This year we will be celebrating our 25th and out of all our kin Bob and I have the strongest marriage because no matter what life throws at us we are always able to see the funny side of things.

As for my mum she never changed her ways which was really sad for her as she missed out on our boy's childhood but on the happier side the boys were blessed to have the best grandma and grandad in the world and me the most enchanting and funny replacement mum and dad one could only dream of having.....I was indeed truely blessed.

good morning everyone, my hubs and me met 14 years ago and we moved in together after 2 months of knowing each other, 14 years later we are still together, we do keep the romance going,yet we also have our ups and downs i suppose its part of married life, we have to try and give and take.
