morning all, dont think anyone is getting up today kandy, having a nightmare with the traffic
we live in a small cul de sac off the beaten track and its a dead end and dont get much traffic now there is a tail back all the way back to the main road even though we have a big sign saying no through road ..this is due to the main through road through the town being closed at both ends...Church destroyed by fire

    20/ 3/2008

A CHURCH has been destroyed in a suspected arson attack.

Police said youths were spotted running from Bridgefield Street Independent Methodist Church in Radcliffe, at about 3am today.

No one was injured and no residents were evacuated.

The church, founded in 1885, was disused and is now likely to be demolished.

just had a walk down and it is being demolished and local tv said the building collapsed as it was being fought by firefighters..what a crazy world we live in

    Good morning everyone.

Thank you very much for your good wishes and brilliant pics :D :D :D

I stupidly tried cutting down on the pain killers yesterday afternoon (didn't take any) so had a poor night but they have kicked back in now so am OK. I think I shall go out for a (very) short walk and see how it goes. I've decided not to do any gardening today [IMG] :D

Good morning Shiney, glad to see you up and about this morning [IMG]

Very [IMG] not taking your painkillers, that is what they are given out to patients for so that you can have a decent rest with out being in pain

I hope Mrs Shiney gave you a good ticking off for not taking them [IMG] :D

Hope you enjoy your walk, but make sure you wrap up warm.Mr Kandy and I have already had a nice walk in the fresh air,but i have just been outside to hang some washing out and I now have frozen fingers, that is how cold it is.Perhaps you ought to stay in the warm until you have got over the op a bit more.

Have a great day in all you do [IMG]

Imp,sorry to hear about the church, there are a lot of nasty toe rags out there...

    Good morning (just) everyone.

Hope you all have a Happy Easter.

shiney, just stay in (if i'm not too late) it's horrible out there. As Kandy said, do not stop the painkillers. Get as much rest as you can.

We expect you to be up & about and giving all your excellent advice :D Seriously, take it easy.

    cheers

It is freezing cold out there againand the sky is full of snow but it just won't release a big dollop just the odd flake and then the wind just blows it away. :(

Our hedgehog has woken up too early{Poo on lawn and paths}so I am putting out a bowl of cat food every night to feed him/her which it gobbles up every night when we are alseep.Hope it survives with all this cold weather we are having

Hope you all have a good day in all that you do [IMG]

Good morning everyone, it has been snowing on and off for the last couple of hours but not settling. About an hour ago Oscar got up and had a look out of the greenhouse door and looked at the snow in disgust. He marched straight back and is curled up asleep in the propagator [IMG]

I had a very slow stroll yesterday for about 10 minutes but although it was sunny the wind was so strong and cold that my eyes wouldn't stop watering so I came back into the garden which was a lot more sheltered. In the garden it was so much more pleasant that I hobbled around taking photos but haven't checked to see whether they have come out any good.

Just started snowing heavily but still not settling.

    Stay warm and cosy :D
