Yawn ... wakey, wakey ...

morning everyone, woke up to snow this morning not a great deal but a covering, might get out this morning and get some pics.
still not smoking my 4th day now feeling A ok get my strange moments then it passes.

Its cooler but sunny here, the weekend was beautiful and i have one tiny patch of snow left, on the front lawn, thats it, the back yard is snow free, spent the weekend getting the rest of the yard cleaned up (dog stuff), nice to have that job done!

 

hi penny, since i took my pics earlier of the snow its just about gone, so pleased i went out when i did, still very cold.

Walnut I'm really nesh at the moment this cold weather is really knocking me for six and I'm ashamed to write I have had to start taking the tablets again but not morphine I hasten to add....noway I'm taking that after the last time! :eek:

Woo I really miss my lovely Dude (that's our Rottie of course) as he was another one who loved his very early walks it hits me most when I'm low although I do try to keep this to myself. Silly me but I thought I was the only one still that misses him until I found one of the boys sobbing his heart out over him the other day.
I asked what brought it on and he told me that it's because he was going away with his gf for a few days for some reason he kept thinking of the time he went away 2 years back and while he was gone Dude died.....just goes to show although they look big and strong they can still crumble like the rest of us at times and I thank goodness for that after all who would want their children to grow up mean and hard?

Rosa you're doing great and I know it's really gotta be hard for you although I think you are one of the lucky ones as you have your paintings to keep your hands busy.....keep it going although once you have packed in for good you may not feel any different for a while (although your purse will!)but you will sometime in the future.

Well the greenhouse is coming today and Bob's really excited about it all I have to do is jump start this downer I'm going through t the moment but I'm sure things will pick up when the weather's a little warmer.

Morning all,Helen know what you mean about Dude i'm the same about my Jasmine but we have to move on,it's took a while but I am again looking at rescue dogs and have got Lady Walnut semi interested so Iwould think it's only a matter of time before one appears at Walnut Towers,about feeling low I watched the programme last night about the lad called the elephant man what he is going through doesn't bear thinking about you could feel the love of his family,a real tear jerker makes you really appreciate were your at,have a safe day everyone.

Mr Kandy has the flu so is still in bed.They were going down like flies with it last week.I just hope that he doesn't pass it on to me :eek:
