:) Morning everyone, late this morning as it was a bit hectic here earlier...:D Calm now though. Have just had a smashing walk, sunny but cold in that wind..!!
:) Woo I used to fox watch & badger watch when we came here over 30yrs ago.. Sadley with new building works they were driven another 2 or so miles away & now.. The badgers are not at all easy to see, but I know they are there as you can see their runs, where they clear their old bedding out & their toilet areas....;):) The foxes though, can now be seen around the village at night... But they have a long trek to the bins & gardens as the nearest known den now is the other side of the brook..!;) Amazing how nature adapts to progress..:)

:) Have a great dat everyone, whatever you may be doing...:)

Morning all, lovely morning this morning:) The sun is shining and the birds are singing just what I need.:thumb:

Helen we used to do quiet a lot of birdwatching going off to different places to get some ticks but when we got our Tina couldn't do it the same as she would have winged all the time and upset the other twitchers because she would rather have been enjoying running about sniffing out lots of different smells so we stopped doing it.Great fun though.Managed to see our one and only Snowy Owl at Wainfleet although it was quiet a distance away.Another good one was a Nutcracker, very nice bird:thumb:I know what you mean about the body not being able:rolleyes:

Have a good day everyone in all that you do:)

morning everyone, just popped in to update on work, nearly everything got packed and taken away, ornaments, pictures things like that, then i got some bad news all my kitchen top units have to come down for the guys to trace down to electric points, so they are arriving at 8 this morning to do that, then packers are arriving to take some bits of furniture out so its another busy day.
full re-wire gets started in the morning they will be on 2 days then whatever tiles they have smashed gets replaced, the company is going to take me to the tile shop, luckily they have the same tiles in stock.
got my tiles for the bathroom they are white, with black, grey and silver borders, italian and a white tile for the floor with a touch of sparkle to them.
dont know till later today iff my bedroom furniture might have to be dismantled thats some job as they are over-head around bed complete unit, lets hope this doesnt have to happen.
windows are getting done 30 th of this month and hopefully in between the bathroom is getting fitted.
my hubby is having a lucky excape hes back off to africa in the morning, timed that well ha ha.
well will go for now hope everyone is keeping well and must see marleys pics before i sign off, have a great day everyone

    Good morning everyone,

Rosa, I hope you are surviving all the disruption :)

It looks as though the weather is going to be good from now until we open the garden so I have written a schedule of jobs to do out there. Everything else will have to be fitted around that.

    Have a great day :D

    Good morning, all. :)

It's grey this morning and rain is forecast. Just hope it keeps off till I get the remainder of my pots done, then I don't care because it can wash all the cement dust off the shrubs and tiles. Bob & Co finished yesterday afternoon and won't be back until the granite is ready. The cement mixer, tools of destruction and construction and the remaining rubble is gone so I can't take control of the garden again. T'other half is painting the walls today ... assuming it's not raining when he gets up.

I don't envy you at all rosa ... are you living there whilst all this upheavel is soing on?

Enjoy whatever you may be doing today. :)

    Morning guys,:)

Been having a clear out here to Rosa. Have two older type tv units in great condition, the good solid types one by schreiber and a small wardrobe. Made arrangements for the salvation army to take them. When they arrived at 8.30am this morning they refused to take them saying they cant sell them .Whats the world coming to when you cant even give stuff away. Its really set me back now. Seems a shame to take them to the tip but thats what I'll have to do. We certainly live in a throw away world these days.:(

    Heyloo.

I'm so sorry folks that i haven't been around. I'm afraid things are getting out of hand with my condition, and after a stint of having problems with my internet for a few weeks i just had no drive to get back on while i was so unwell.
I really can't say sorry enough, i value you all a great deal and i really should have shown it more vividly.

I found an email in my inbox from a few days ago from lovely Marley Farley asking how i was this morning, and it really woke me up to how much i missed you all, so here i am! And thank you so much, i found a few PMs when i logged in too! You're all so sweet!

Not much to update here really, trying to juggle my increasingly bad pain with a bit of housework each day, and have also lowered my food in take because i'm not moving much anymore. Thats tough, as i naturally go to eat for comfort, but i'm doing okay so far.

My consaltants appointment is just around the corner now on the 6th, but my pain is getting to a ridiculous level so i'm off back to the doctors to try a different pain control programme.

Rats are well, my handsome Memphis passed away a few weeks ago very suddenly, and that was a real smack in the face, my poor little boy.

Wish i could enjoy the sunshine properly but garden isn't really sunbathing or relaxing friendly at the moment, its gone crazy overgrown with the heat and needs more attention than ever.

For a member of a gardening forum, i don't half miss the point do i :P

evening everyone, just popped in again, the cupboards in kitchen are not down yet they had to wait for the electrician to disconnect a light fitment in my unit, doing it first thing, im away for the day out of the racket of the drill going all day, sounds like a lot of my tiles in the kitchen are going to get smashed and dear knows what else.
the truck just arrived this evening and dropped off all the scaffolding to put up for my new windows, anyway going out with my friend a bit of retail therapy needed ha ha, just going for my lounge wallpaper.
dreading going back at 4 pm to see what mess there is and dust, hopefully all finished thursday the electrics that is, then a joiner is arriving to put all my kitchen cupboards back up, then a call to my brother to get him to sort out damaged tiles, mind the company is taking me to the tile shop to buy them whats been smashed.
will talk to everyone once i get a chance to get back on

Its obvious you have a lot of friends on here who care about you, and all wish you well, me too!! take care. 02 :)

:) Morning everyone, Must be nice now all your works are finished LoL.. I can just see you moving around trying out new seating positions etc... What fun..!!! :thumb:

:thumb: rosa, it is hard living in the mess while they work around you, but they seem to be doing pretty well.. Good Luck, hope it stays that way...:)
:) Shiney you must be going round & round that garden looking for weeds etc..!!!;)

:thumb: Good to see you back to Whiley, but sorry to hear you are still in so much pain..! Allot of things we can cope with in life, but I think quite a few people on hear know what living with pain is like in some way or another.. So don't shut yourself away too much..!! That is sad about your ratty chap, but better sudden than watch him suffer.. R.I.P... I hope that you get some relief & help when you see the specialist.. Mean while, try & muster a little smile in the sunshine.. Always helps...!!;)

:thumb:Well take care everyone & have a great day whatever you are doing..:)
