    Good morning everone,

I've just got home and it is quite mild out there. :thumb:

I did some mowing and leaf clearing this afternoon and the lawn looked clear for at least half an hour.

    See you later :)

    Morning 02, Shiney and all.

Dear 02 I do hope you're able to keep moving about that sciatica and any kind of arthritis is a right pain in the bum, fingers crossed you have some good pain killers that will allow you to keep mobile and of course take away most of the pain... if not get down to the doctors and demand some sweetie.:)

Whiley Lol about the bathroom tiling are you sure the guy isn't making you a mural?

Absolutely stunning pictures of your little furry friends my goodness they do make lovely models I only hope they don't have high demands on the photo shoot or have the same kind of temperament as Naomi Campbell!:el-f:

There has never been any doubt (at least by me) that your lovely art work wouldn't do well and I do hope that more people get the chance to see the beauty of it all so good luck with that.:gnthb:

Well off to the hospital again this morning to see Bob pumped up with iron not sure what to take with me a book or my knitting? although the latter might make me look like one of those old crones sitting before the guillotine...I guess I will go with the flow and take my knitting with me then!:lollol:

    Have a nice day peeps.Hel.xxx.

Morning everyone running a bit late again this morning.Mr K still has a jelly belly and I have insisted in going back to the Dr to find out exactly what is going on with his insides. It is strange because before he gave up smoking he very rarely suffered any ill health but since he gave up the pipe in April he seems to be going down with everything eeek.

Shiney, nice to see you have another lovely day with the weather. It is fine here but bitterely cold.I think it is getting ready for that snow they keep saying we are going to get.I just wish it would hang on for another four weeks:)

02 hope your Sciatica gets better soon.I have found that keeping mobile works wonders for me but I expect you will find what works best for you:gnthb:

Helen hope all goes well for Bob with his iron injections.I think it is marvelous just what they can do for folks these days.I am so glad that I didn't live a hundred odd years ago when there wasn't the medicines they have today:thumb:

Morning all! Thanks for sweet comments re my little divas. ANd thank you Helz for lovely arty booster there :D Always keeps me encouraged.

Woke up today in usual pain plus some and couldnt budge for a while so laid in bed trying to think up ideas to help a friend whos fundraising for a DIFFERENT rabbit rescue than the other that i did the book paintings for. Apparently they're the only people in the area who take rabbits and they just round up a massive 4 figure vet bill for a large group of rescues that suddenly came in and need any support they can.

If anyone can think of anything please let me know. <3

    Good morning everybody,

It looks as though we might have a bright start to the day but not sure yet.

I hope all your aches and pains go away and you can get ready for the weekend.

I've had a very busy week this week with quite a lot of meetings and also playing bridge matches every evening until 11.30. Another one tonight and then every night next week. I need to get a lot of matches played before I go away :). At least it keeps the old brain working - I think :hehe:

    Have a great day :D

    Morning Shiney,Kandy and all.

My goodness Shiney you are in demand good job Mrs.Shiney is understanding otherwise there would be hell to pay! :hehe:

It's not nice at all being in any kind of pain Whiley although I wish I could just lie in bed and hope the pains go away too but it's the other way round for me when I wake up the only way to ease my pain is to get up and moving...sometimes I wish there was a super drug that would indeed make you totally pain free but still let you know you are on Planet Earth!:ywn: :D

Kandy Bob was told that once he gave up the dreaded weed (not the wacky baccy kind I hasten to add) that he would benefit no end from it but he doesn't feel any different although saying that some must do..... if not why rob someone of their little guilty pleasure?

Well Bob's pumping of iron was a breeze thankfully Bob didn't fall asleep in the chair otherwise it might have been a case of another English earth quake although I'm pretty sure it would have had a much higher magnitude than the February one!:D

Having a little problem with one of my sons (he's in his last year at uni) he's just not feeling the thrill of going and getting this last year off his hands. I really can't understand it as he doesn't have a problem going to work in fact he's one of the lucky ones he really does love his job but the down side is that the wages PC World pay is far from great you would get more stocking shelves in a super market... I kid you not!Hel.xxx.

Good morning shiney and everybody :)

It is a lovely sunny morning and the temp has already risen to 5C. Last nights wind has died down (no comments please :hehe:).

An hour ago I filled up the bird feeders and spread some feed on the ground and now the birds are having a lovely time. The feeder is covered in greenfinches and tits and there was a spotted woodpecker enjoy the nuts. On the ground I have already seen a pair of pigeons, a pair of collared doves (who always chase off the magpies), four Jays and three pheasants. A couple of robins were dodging around between the bigger birds :thumb:

Hope your weather stays as good as ours.

    Have a great weekend :D

Morning Shiney,we have lots of sun here at the moment but it is bitterly cold out there and my weather station says it is 38.1{3.4c} so it is freezing cold in the wind.

Have been down to the shed and greenhouse to make sure everything there is ok and have put out the bird sees and nuts.I get them in now every night because when I leave them out it rains and ruins all the seed.I shall have to go back to the hanging seed feeder but when I do that the sparrows chuck all the seed out and I then get an extra lawn growing where the seeds falls. We have no birds that are willing to peck up the fallen stuff.

We only get a few odd birds at this time of the year like Blue & Great Tits,Robins,Starlings,Sparrows and Dunnock. When the weather gets really bad we then get the Blackbirds back.

Hope you and Mrs Shiney have a good day:)

    Morning Shiney, Kandy and all.

'entertain her young man' oh the joys of being a bridge widow I do hope 'they' tidy up after theirselves!:hehe:

I will have to see about getting a bird table or something in our own gardens as I have to confess we don't have anything for the birds here only the worms that come out to play when it's raining...shame on us.

Well it has been cold but I think it must be the wind chill factor because the heating hasn't had to be put up higher than we normally have it at, although I'm not taking any chances of not been wrapped up well if we pod over to the paddocks today I'm putting on two trousers, four pairs of socks, two jumpers, one t-shirt, one scarf, pair of gloves, woolly hat, two fleeces and a partridge in a pear tree!:lollol:Hel.xxx.
