    Morning Imp,

I've been out there sunbathing :hehe:

Sorry to hear that they pinched your bike. If they catch them give them a thump for me :thumb:

Its more than a thump they need, but give them one from me anyway Inter. If enough of us thump them it could have the desired result.:grn: 02

    Morning Shiney, Ste and 02.

Blinking heck Ste that's really rotten luck I can well imagine just how peed off you are, there was a saying quite some time ago I think it was a police warning drive (although I could be wrong) that stated 'It's not 'if' your motor bike gets nicked but when'.

I absolutely hate it when people resort to nicking things off other people it doesn't half make my blood boil most of them can't be bothered to work they just think it's not right someone having something they have not got themselves.....what I say to those kind of people is 'Get off your blooming ar*se and work for it'. Rant over but I do really feel for you Ste.:(

Well yesterday I thought it would be nice to go to our huge Woolworths branch to catch some of those half price sales one look at the full carpark and we quickly did a u-turn!
I hope all of you have a nice day and just maybe we will catch some of Shineys' sun! Hel.xxx.

    Good Morning everyone.:)
I must be the only one up and about this morning. I can't sleep but I admit I did go to bed at 8 pm yesterday then Wazzakins got home very late from his late shift, well, later then usual, which had me worrying :cnfs: though God knows why?

I'm trying to do quiet things round the house so as not to wake him up. Sounded like they were pretty busy, well, they usually are pretty busy on a Saturday night anyway, all the undesirables are out and about getting drunk and crashing cars.:(

Still, if I get my head and my brain in one place, I'll maybe start planning my garden for next year. did an hour's work in it yesterday which did not even make an impact on anything, maybe I'll get out there again to-day if the temperature goes above -5.

Not as if I don't have plenty to do in the house :gnthb: but I enjoy the garden more, even when it is cold.

Morning everyone, hope you have all had a good nights kip.I was up at 5am this morning so have been preparing the meat and veg's for todays dinner.I have taken a photo of what we are going to have and just need to make the dumplings a bit later. It has been on the go in my slow cooker since 6am so by lunch time should be ready.

As it is a heavy frost out there today and the roads are glistening we will be glad of it and at least this cold snap should get rid of any lingering bugs:hehe:

Sorry to hear about you bike Imp.Where we used to live I had two mopeds stolen,{one wrecked and the other never found} and both times had to claim off of the Insurance and had to suffer the inconvienence of being without transport and then having to trek round the bike shops to get replacements. We also have had a car stolen plus all the bulbs nicked out of the Christmas lights that we put outside and that was one reason why we moved'Words can't describe what I would like to do to these toe rags

Have a great day everyone and Shobhna, hope you had a great holiday. It doesn't seem five minutes since you went:)

    Morning girls and all.

Shobhna I quite agree with you darling I would rather be outside than in thankfully house work is amazingly quick when I have my mp3 player plugged in although the boys don't take too kindly to my singing sorry that should be screeching!:hehe:

I can and do spend as much time as I can outside and even though it's really cold now I get myself well wrapped up like a michelin man [IMG] and I'm well set for hours of lovely gardening although Bob thinks I'm mad!

Kandy looks like you and Mr.K. will be nice and warm come dinner time I wonder if there's an odd dumpling who gets it?:D

02 steak and onions wow that's lovely I'm getting quite hungry now and I have not had my breakfast you naughty girls this thread shouldn't be called Wakey, wakey but Hungry, hungry!:hehe:

    Have a lovely Sunday peeps.Hel.xxx.

    Good morning everybody,

We got home from our friend's party just befor 3 a.m. and I've had a very chilly stroll to the village :). When I got back I made my sandwiches for my break during a bridge tournament today. I'll be off to that later this morning and back about 10 p.m so no Sunday dinner :(. I've got some chicken casserole in the fridge that I may have when I get back.

Our friend's 50th birthday party was excellent. It was held in a restaurant in a hotel about 20 miles from us. He's a James Bond fan so it had a James Bond theme. There was a James Bond table quiz to keep us busy through dinner and the kids had games. Dinner was a very good hot buffet with lots of choices :gnthb:. After the dinner there was a cabaret of a great female singer who specialises in James Bond songs. She sang and performed about 20 songs from the films.

After the cabaret there was a casino set up in the room alongside the restaurant with roulette and blackjack and we were all given £50 of chips to play with. After all the dinner tables had been cleared from the dancing area the singer came back and sang for a couple of hours going through a range of old and modern songs that kept everyone dancing. :)

a great time was had by all :yho:

    Have a great day :D

    Good Day Everyone.
Nice to read everyone is buzzing along. Went Christmas shopping yesterday, still need more stuff. Restocked my bar too. $$$.
Looking forward to a beautiful Christmas Wedding to attend this coming Saturday, the bride is one of my supervisors a beautiful girl. I am so proud of her, like a daughter to me. Have to get her the right gift.
Beautiful white snow hanging on the branches and aged plants this morning, sun fairly bright, very pretty outside. Last night my tree outside looked especially pretty with the snow on it and all its lights.
Well have a great day all.

    Morning all.

Redstar I so believe in trying my best at getting the right gifts for people I know, you can always tell the presents from people who really know them and the ones that sadly do not. If you can get it right it's worth more than money can buy to see their faces.

Have you got a photo of your tree all lit up with the snow on the branches Redstar? I bet it looks enchanting.

Shiney boy you must have had a wonderful time a true night to remember and I'm glad to hear children were welcome too.:gnthb:

Marley I do hope your friend gets better and you enjoyed your very busy day.

Well I'ave been clock watching so I thought I better get up, so much to do and with very little time to do it all in but then again if one wasn't busy than it would indeed be a bore.Have a nice day guys and remember Christmas is now just around the corner!:hehe:Hel.xxx.

    Morning all,
Up could not sleep, its 3:02AM. fussing around on here and others forums.

This is the photo of it on Thanksgiving night. The little yellow square on the right is my living rooms light. Have not taken any pics of it with the snow on it yet.

Should try to get back to sleep, have to teach a class tomorrow on medication administration.
But have done it before, so its a matter of following old notes.

    Have a good day all.

    Good morning everybody,

I hope you are all well on this chilly morning and looking forward to Christmas :gnthb:.

I've looked at my diary for this week and it is chock-a-block  so I had better start thinking about what to pack for our holiday .

We've got a tree surgeon coming tomorrow to do a lot of work. I hope he turns up. His dog Rosey died the other day and he has found it difficult to work. Rosey had been with him for a very long time and was always by his side, even at work. We'll miss her as well.

    Have a great day :D
