    Morning all.

Lovely photo Woo makes me feel all warm and fluffy inside or is that my cuppa?

High Kype how lovely to have a new baby in the family and a little girl too very sweet although I always tell my sister 'I don't do nappies' which seems to get me out of an awful lot.:hehe:

Shiney hope you have a nice time at that presentation, remember no drunken behavior or dacing on tables unless you're asked to!

Kandy no didn't get a good deal on the mini greenhouse the horror of it all but it will do the job and I'll have to keep my eyes open for those bargains.

It's Dan's birthday tomorrow my goodness time doesn't half fly I still remember with dread the nappy changes!:dh:

Lovely day out going be able to do some more work of that I'm sure, I hope the weather is nice for you all too.Hel.xxx.

    Good morning everyone,

It is a beautiful sunny Mother's Day today :gnthb:

Mrs shiney is teaching again and I'm working on the food :) with some gardening in between.

The presentation yesterday afternoon was much better than I was anticipating and we really enjoyed it. Most of it was people reading their poetry with the large majority being quite humerous. The funny ones covered a range of topics from old age to the credit crunch. At one stage the local MP (Labour) didn't look too amused and the prospective Conservative candidate was roaring with laughter :hehe:.

We had a good evening at my sister's house with all her family - children, grandchildren etc.

We have some friends turning up this evening (just after Mrs shiney's students are due to leave) so I had better get the house tidied up :( :)

I thought I would be able to relax when I retired! :rotfl:

    Morning Shiney and all.

Day off yesterday lol but it was a good'un starting with a car boot thank the heavens for staying nice and what may you ask would a girl call Hel find at the car boot something that she has wanted for quite some time now...... a pitch-fork I'm going to have a hell-of-a-time now!:yho::hehe:

Pleased you had a fun time at your presentation Shiney I found laughter to be a brilliant ice breaker, I just can't understand what people do without a sense of humour it's a huge pity to be without one that's for sure.

Not looking too good outisde today but as long as I can cut the lawns then I'll be happy.Hel.xxx.

    Morning all.

Lol 02 we had all that wind yesterday too but I thought it was Bob's fault!:hehe:

We had a Nelly Moser (I love the pink lines on the white background) in our last garden (as well as quite a few others) strangely we only have one in our present garden and I have no idea what's it's name all I know is that it's a large dark red flower!

Penny I really don't know how you do it living with temperatures like that but at least the sun being out will make you 'feel' a little warmer than it really is or at least it does have that effect on me. Keep those pansies well wrapped up.

Being a gutten for punishment at the weekend I sown even more seeds this time a few flowers and already they are peeking through the compost saying 'Hello', looks like Bob will have to do some more juggling around pretty soon.

The wind has died down and it looks like it's going to be a smashing day I do hope the sun shines down on you too.Hel.xxx.

    Good morning everyone,

Helen, what are you going to do with a pitchfork

O2, I've got a nice trellis in my garden that you can grow them up. They would look really nice here :hehe:

Penny, I hope it soon gets warm for you :thumb:

I finally got my tree removal thread up after a struggle with getting the photos onto PB. It is only allowing me to put one photo on at a time and then I can't copy it to GC unless I log out of PB, clear cookies and then log in again :(. I had the same trouble when I was putting photos onto the 'What's looking good...' thread.

    Have a great day :D

    Morning Woo and all.

Woo hope you had a smooth night flying about it was a tad windy here.

Shiney I have seen your stunning pictures those guys seem to have made light work of the tree/shrub removal all looking good now. By the way if you have too many cookies then by all means please send them my way just as long as they are chocolate chip cookies yummy!:gnthb:

I would say the pitchfork is solely for moving the manure but I would be lying.... it sure makes the guys appear they are doing some work when I have it in hand!:hehe:

Penny don't forget to collect some seed off your pansies once they are nearing the end of their flowering season as they are one of the easiest seeds to collect and sow your own, my winter ones self-seed all other the place which is smashing I just pick them and pot them on somewhere else.

Managed to cut the lawns yesterday so very pleased that I did 'do' them as it rained something terrible in the evening. More seedlings to pot on later today everythings coming on so very well.

Keep busy and of course happy guys. Hel.xxx
