Morning friends!0)...Hope you all are well and enjoying your weekend:gnthb:
Mrs Pal and me are off to Seaton Sands Hotel in a short while...It is our annual chill out quiet break....However her cheeky sister has organised for the entire coven to come down to celebrate her birthday! She told us last night and expected us to be pleased I'm sure:doh:...How selfish is that?!?:el-f:

Never mind....I'll be able to take the rise out of them and just to upset them I might just start up an intelligent conversation:hehe:

See you all next Wednesday...if I can stand it that long:D

Morning Rosa and Pal:) Pal,I think I have missed you as we were out walking this lovely sunny morning but hope that you have an enjoyable break away but sorry that you have others that won't help you enjoy your time there, still just grin and bare it if you can:thumb:

Rosa,I bet you are enjoying this lovely weather out on your balcony.I am spending more time in our conservatory and it is nice to sit in there and look out onto the garden at all the flowers:D That seems a good price for those station clocks as I have seen them advertised in garden mags for lots more than that.I keep saying to Mr Kandy that I need a clock in the garden because I lose all track of time out there and it is difficult trying to read the kitchen clock through the kitchen window when the sun is shining on the glass:D

    Enjoy your day:)

Hello everyone, can't really say good morning at this stage! Maybe we could give this thread a sub-heading "Yawn yawn, time to go to bed" - that's when I'm normally on here!
Kandy, in case you missed my belated reply, thanks so much for the Happy Birthday thread on the 3rd, and thanks to everyone else. I only discovered it days later. Hope your injection is having some effect.
Helen I know what you mean about your 20 yr old "little one", my boy is not quite 4, but I already know I'll be like that too. He enjoyed his break with Daddy, but hasn't let me out of his sight since he got home! I got that bedroom painted but it was a challenge in the time, painting is worse than gardening for creating aches and pains!
I've been digging (or should that be quarrying) and planting, and have some photos to put on my thread, but have to be shown (again) how to put the photos on. I'm hopeless with computers!
Hope you all have a great Monday x

Good morning everyone hope you are all well on this bright sunny Monday morning:)

Rosa,we have been looking at those clocks for the last couple of years when they first came out but couldn't decide which one to go for and now there are more it is even worse.:D We shall get there in the end though.Thats the problem with being spoilt for choice a buit like all the products for sale in the supermarkets:D

Flying free, love your little photo on your profile.Shouldn't you be flying over that five bar gate:D

Sorry Scillygirl I missed your belated reply as i am trying not to spend too m uch time tapping away at this keyboard as it is starin on this hand.I have loads of irioning stacking up and will have to retackle it soon.I tried iroing left handed on Friday and it took me an hour to do a dozen items as i am slower doing it with the wrong hand:p

Well we had a reasonable day yesterday with me being tied to the cooker in the morning while Mr Kandy did some garden work and then while he was watching the Grand Prix I pricked out the first fourty odd sweetcorn and then had to give it a rest:D We drove over to the allotment later on and Mr Kandy put up the bean canesand then I sowed the Runner Bean seeds that I have had soaking in water.Hope they don't rot now with all the rain that is forecast this week:(

Has anyone noticed how slow PB is of late?I wish they wouldn't keep changing the way they do things as I am trying to get my photos uploaded of when we went to Beth Chattos gardens last week:(

Anyway, sorry to go on a bit but as they do long posts on Martin Lewis's forum I thought I would do the same on here,so sorry if i am boring you all :D

Hope you all have a good day and please don't get blown away or soaking wet this week:flag::luv:

    Good morning everyone,

Kandy, I hope your hand is starting to feel better :thmb:

It is sunny again this morning and I had to start watering the plants in the garden yesterday as some of them were drooping :(. We had to go and buy more plants for our hanging baskets yesterday. All winter and spring they had put on a wonderful show of pansies but all this sun, even with watering every day, has made them look very tired. It has been a funny spring with some plants way ahead of normal and others way behind.

I've got a busy day today with guests leaving this morning, three meetings during the day and then I have got to start organising food for friends who are coming for dinner tomorrow night. Not a lot of spare time tomorrow as I don't finish runnnig the bridge club until 5 p.m. and friends are coming at 6. p.m. I'm getting too old for all this rushing around :old: :hehe:

    Have a great day :D

Morning Kandy, you posted whilst I was typing :). I'm not sure I find PB any slower but I don't like it asking me every time if I want to edit my photo. That wastes a bit of time. Are they trying to tell me that my photos are rubbish :hehe:

    Morning Kandy, Shiney and all.

Lovely morning yesterday but all the high wind we had most of last week must have put off an awful lot of people from standing at a car boot either that or they had a really good Saturday night out!

Shiney you could never be too old with all the things you do I'm sure you're immortal!

Pal enjoy yourself as best as you can and try and be a good boy. :hehe:

Rosa the only problem with the gardening 'stuff' from Morrisons is that I can't buy my m-i-l a gift from there as she will know just how much it costs which doesn't bother Bob (of course) but it does me!

Marley yesterday was indeed really lovely for an early morning walk hopefully it will not be a one off and you will be able to enjoy another one on a regular basis.:thumb:

Scillygirl my 'little one' has complained he doesn't see his mum so much now as I spend far too much time over at the allotments (according to him) I must admit I was shocked and felt really guilty when he told me this until I saw him laughing at me, now he tells me it all the time the cheeky rascal just to see how I react!

Kandy the pain of the prod of the injection will be worth it in the end if it eases your pain.:thumb: Regarding our sweetcorn I had to re-sow some of ours as Bob left the coldframe top off one night and a cheeky mouse must have got in and ate must of the peas!

We got a wonderful compliment from one of our neighbours across the road who came and asked what type of lawn mower we used as our lawns look lovely (although I don't think they do) and now they are trying to get the same model!

Overcast at the moment loads of clouds in the sky hope it holds off though as we could do with the hedge getting it's first clip.

Have a nice day guys and may the sun shine on you all.Hel.xxx
