      Aloha everyone,

I've been busy this morning down at a local farm. As the forecast was rain I wanted to get the outside work done before the deluge. So I've just filled 20 x 70 litre compost bags with hot horse poo! Just unloaded the last bag and the rain started :blue thumb:

I think that deserves a pub lunch :)

I have another very large bonfire to burn at some time as we've been pruning our fruit trees.

Keep well and have a great day

      Aloha!

Good Evening my little WW'ers

Submitted my job application today (took me an age to write/edit/re-write/edit/swap around/edit/fudge certain free writing aspects of the application: talk about indecisive! :loll: ). It's only a temporary, part time job, but, that would do me nicely at the moment. Closing day was today so .... :fingers crossed: ....

Signed up to my "local" surgery today. Little bit further than the 5 minute walk from my previous home, but, I suppose a 50 minute walk is good for the heart :heehee: :rolleyespink: (If the dual carriageway doesn't get me first, of course!).

I can hear the beginnings of Guy Fawkes night outside and, as it is the only night I've heard them around here, it's rather lovely to hear it! Of course, Ozzy doesn't like it much so ... I get a heated foot warmer for the evening :doggieshmooze:

Treated myself to two bags of bulbs for £3 while I was out - can't remember the variety, but tulips and daffodils - that will be my last selfish splurge until I hear about the job.

Happy GF Night one and all. xxMxx

          Good morning everyone,

By 'eck it's a chilly one this morning..Brrrrrr....if that doesn't wake you up nothing will:blue thumb:...

"M" Good luck on the job front:thumbsup:...

Shiney...Pleased you managed to shovel the 'manure' (see how polite I was there):heehee: before the rain came, not the best of jobs :blue thumb:

-1 here and foggy with that familiar smell of the 6th of November, the aftermath of Bonfires and fireworks.

Quick cuppa then I'll have to defrost the car before setting off to work..

Keep warm and cozy everyone and take care:SUNsmile:

              Aloha everyone,

It's very frosty out there but the sun is shining brightly.

It's good to be able to get the steaming hot poo for the garden but the job is made a lot more difficult by the interference of the elderly female collie that lives at the farm. :) She insists on playing 'throwing and retrieving'! She gets in between the spade and the heap and wants a stick thrown for her to retrieve. This may seem fairly simple if I could get a nice stick and throw it a long way, but she insists it has to be a stick that she chooses and it's only two inches long. :heehee: At least it gives me a chance to have a break from shovelling.

"M" good luck with the job application. They should ask us for references. ;) :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

              Woo, I hope you're feeling better. :)

              Have a great day

              Aloha!

                              Aloha everyone,

It has been raining all night and looks set to continue today.

Maria, good luck in the new job. I try not to visit old peoples' homes as they usually try to keep me in :old: :loll:

Woo and Moyra, I hope you're feeling better today. In view of the poor weather you can take it easy :coffee: :)

Loli, she's got to check that you're doing it correctly. :blue thumb: When Mrs Shiney had bantams she used to wear a dressing gown with big pockets and they used to sit in the pockets and watch her work. :heehee:

As we've decided not to go to the Lord Mayor's Show tomorrow we've invited friends round for dinner. I'm thinking of typing out a menu and heading it 'After the Lord Mayor's Show' :roflol:
