Bad news about the crows Shiney. I've never seen any round here though I expect there are some somewhere. Never seen a magpie either since I've been here.

It's great your builders are so good with the dogs Loli. They deserve their butties.

Hope everyone is OK

Just started raining here and the forecast reckons we're in for a proper wet one today,waiting for a call from the builders to see how the land lies but there's a good chance they'll be rained off.I don't mind the rest actually,by 'eck they can't half eat and I'm sure they're having a tea drinking competition between them The 'girls' seem satisfied with their progress so far after a quick inspection and after entertaining the 'troops' I put them back in their run or the job will never get done

Shiney...RSI is very painful,it's not so bad at the time but you don't half feel it when you stop.Don't forget the four candles while your at it

Moyra...The builders did say 2 weeks but I have my doubts.Naturally I've put a spanner in the works The builders are using the footprint of the old conservatory to build from of which the interior is exposed brick which I want to keep the same with the new brick work ,they tried to talk me into having it plastered,which would make their job easier/quicker as the finishing off of the brick work wouldn't have to be so precise but I like the rustic look so it's slowed the job down a tad.They are doing a smashing job though.Today it's all hands on deck to get the roof off but it's looking a bit iffy at the moment as it's pouring with rain .

What a yukky wet day it was yesterday but the builders carried on regardless,I felt so sorry for them ,they were dripping wet they were still singing though,which was probably making the rain situation worse All is going according to plan so far even though the place looks like a bomb site

Time for a nice cuppa before the mayhem starts again
