    Aloha everyone,

I'm not really feeling like going out and continuing with the Frame but I've bought the screws - very expensive at 60p for 60 :heehee:. Maybe, when it brightens up, I'll feel more like doing it. In the mean time he fruit trees have been getting a haircut. :)

Keep well and have a great day

    Aloha!

    Morning all

Glad the building work is going well Loli. It will be worth all the chaos when they're finished.

Good to see you making use of your hair cutting skills Shiney :snork: Could do with you over here attending to my trees.

    Hope you're well Woo.

Sending good wishes to everyone and hope it's a great day for all of you.

            Good morning everyone..

Hope everyone is in fine fettle:thumbsup:

Eve ...You must see Shineys lawn edges:love30: they really are perfect.I'm still in training to get mine anything like:doh:When I've been on garden visits there's many a time as I've been wandering around and said "Hmmm look at those edges they're not as good as Shineys".

It was another grey mizzley day yesterday but the builders plodded on into the dark. They were well topped up with food and drinks so it kept them going. At one point there were 9 of them all busying around but that's when it got complicated.....it was easy when there was 3..two took one sugar ,One took one then as the numbers increased, 2 with 1,1 with 1,2 with none,1 with 3 and so it went on...In the end 9 cups of tea and a sugar basin was dumped in front of them for them to help themselves:biggrin: Weekend off from tea making and off to my proper job:rolleyespink:

Ooo and my Poppy came yesterday, all the way from 'that London':dancy:

              Aloha everyone,

Moyra, is should be better dog walking weather today. :dbgrtmb:

Loli, it sounds like a busy time at your place :). The builders must be enjoying themselves. Hello poppy :blue thumb:

My RSI is a lot better but my foot has had a bit of a setback. I did a two mile walk yesterday and one part of my foot is weeping again - but it doesn't seem to have the usual infection . It's just a bit of a nuisance as it gets quite itchy when it's like this and the dressing keeps sticking a bit, although I'm using a non-stick type dressing.

I've started working on the first part of my next Shiney's Travels post (Hawai'i) and shall put it up this morning, I hope. :blue thumb:

Keep well and have a great day

              Aloha!

              Good morning everyone,

Shiney, sorry about your foot again. Hope it recovers soon.
Loli, Sounds like your running a restaurant there with all those builders.

I wouldn't do that Zigs, the poor little birds get their legs caught up in the net. That is why I stopped hanging netted fat balls because I found a little bird with his legs trapped one day!

Might be better to try a layer of fleece over your bush.

                      Aloha everyone,

Loli, that sounds like a good idea. I'm sure the residents will love her. :chicken: Are your home in the 'Pets As Therapy' (PAT) scheme? A lot of people call it Pat A Dog scheme. The home my mother was in found it very successful. They had a visit from a dog every week and they really looked forward to it. Apparently there are cats enrolled on the scheme so I can't see any reason why chickens can't be, also.
                      http://www.thelabradorsite.com/therapy-dogs-the-pat-dog-scheme/

My foot's a bit better today. I had to be very careful when working in the garden yesterday but I'll be taking it easy today. I'm captaining the county team against Cambridge University. This is always a tough match because we haven't any idea what standard of player they will be putting up. Some of the students can be very erratic (although clever) and it's hard to defend against some of the non-logical things they do.

Keep well and have a great day.

                      Aloha!
