        Good morning Woo and all,

Hope everyone is ticking over nicely:thumbsup:

Had a really stressful day yesterday,no problems with the build or the builders they're doing a cracking job but now out of the blue Mr Nasty next door has thrown his teddy out the pram:huh:turns out he doesn't like what we're doing:scratch: and we should have discussed it with him first:scratch:...
1..It has no affect on him or his property..
2..He can't even see it from his house..
        3..It's none of his business..
He hasn't been inconvenienced in anyway..all vans are on my drive so not causing obstructions I just can't grasp what the kerfuffle is about and I did ask him to explain but he wasn't making sence. We had previously explained that work was starting so he did know plus he only weeks ago had similar work done but I don't remember going off my rocker...Annnyway he's going to get building inspectors round:paladin: which is absolutely fine by us ,everything is above board and to speck so he can get on with it:rolleyespink:
I thought things were going too well:doh:

Annnyway more importantly ....I wish everyone well:dbgrtmb:

Have a great day and take care:SUNsmile:

          Aloha everyone,

Loli, sorry you're having trouble with Mr Nasty . Did your work require Planning Permission? If it did, and you obtained it, he would have been notified by the Council in order to offer objections. If it didn't then all he can do is ask the Council to check that it is being done in compliance to Building Regs (which may not apply anyway, depending on what's being done). If the Council do come round you could suggest that they check the work that Mr Nasty had done. :heehee:

We've got maintenance men coming in today but nothing to do with regulations. They're only scheduled to be here for three hours and only get one cup of tea. :coffee: :heehee: It's an annual contract (they come in twice a year) and I don't want to extend their time here or their boss might increase the contract price!

Foot was bad in one place last night and the dressing got stuck  which was quite painful. We had to soak it off and I've left it to air, and dry overnight. It seems a bit better this morning. We'll use a dry dressing, with smooth sides, today and see how it goes. The rest of the foot is improving. :blue thumb:

Keep well and have a great day

          Aloha!

Shiney, so sorry to hear your foot has been bad again. I hope it soon heals again.

Morning all. Hope you are all well and raring to go.

Loli, hope your neighbour gets back in his pram soon. If you've kept him informed and done your best not to inconvenience him, you've done all you can do as a good neighbour really. Maybe he was just having a bad day himself. :dunno:

Shiney, hope the foot trouble eases and you soon feel better.

Still off work, although the back is definitely feeling better today. I Actually managed to put my own socks on this morning without any help! Mrs Trunky was quite relieved about that too, as she says I have hideous ugly feet.

Will probably go back to work tomorrow, should be ok so long as I take it easy for the first few days. :)

                Morning all

Cold but sunny here this morning. A welcome change from all that gloomy drizzle.

Big wave to Hannah. Lovely to see you posting again and hope you and the family are all well.

Agree with Shiney Loli. Send the building inspector round to nasty neighbour to check the work he's had done.

Wishing those with poorly backs, feet, colds and general aches and pains better soon.

                Have a great day.

                    Good early evening folks,

Shiney...We already had planning for the previous build but did have a chap in suit come round to make sure we weren't over stepping the mark seen as we were changing the roof line from a pitched roof to a flat with a 'lantern' in the middle and all the relevant paper work was ticked and double ticked:thumbsup: Ey what a great idea about mentioning Mr Nastys work,I just might borrow it should things get out of hand:biggrin:I have to say I did blow my top a tad which is something I generally wouldn't dream of but his words were unrepeatable..Even more annoying was the fact that when Mr Loli went to speak to him to 'smooth things over' he was like a cute little kitten...
Re your foot...just an idea, you've probably already tried it but I wonder if you took the dressing off ovenight and then redressed in a morning if it would make a difference:thumbsup:

Trunky...Really pleased your back has improved but do take it steady tomorrow:thumbsup:I think all men have 'funny' feet:biggrin: saying that my feet are identical to my fathers so there you go:whistle:

                    Wishing everyone a comfy evening,take it easy:SUNsmile:

                      Thanks. :blue thumb:
I do take it off if there's no nasties happening. It allows it to dry and get air to it. I don't have anything covering it, even a sheet. :)
