Anybody snowed in? Just very wet here there's two large pools of water on the lawn where there are low spots and the rest is totally water logged and the water butts are all overflowing agaiiiin...be quite handy if it was summer

Had a nice fairly lazy day yesterday and enjoyed company in the afternoon but enough of all this jollity ,back to work today.Turkey and chutney sandwiches in my pack up today,no surprises there then

Dreadful day, weather wise, with wind rain and now sleet. Dogs are going stir crazy and playing mad games all over the house. And trying to mug me for food while I was sorting out what's in the fridge.

By 'eck it's a bit nippy out there this morning....the pools of standing water on the lawn has now turned into a rock solid ice rink which Archi and Theo are finding quite interesting.
Came home from work yesterday to find Daisy chook looking puffed up and out of sorts.Possibly her egg laying department again as she has that certain 'waddle' when she walks plus her crop looked very full so to cover all bases I gave her a steam bath and a small dose of olive oil to cover both bases and a drop of Rescue remedy I was carrying her around the kitchen wrapped in a towel while she was properly dry and when I sang to her she was 'cooing' back so she seemed really contented and looked as bright as a button.When she got fed up (probably with my singing) she waddled off to bed with her sisters so we'll see how she's fairing today...

Off to work now then 2 whole days off...Yabadabadoooo

Yes, Loli think Shiney might be right about Daisy wanting a sauna and a quick rub down. Wouldn't we all. Must get Amber out she is raring to go and I haven't got my boots on yet!
