    Morning all

Wet again here so won't get much done in the garden today.

More :grphg: for Moyra. Hope you're through all this soon.

My laptop is dying so if I disappear I'm not ignoring you all, I'll just have been cut off in my prime. Not sure when I can get a new one, either.

    Have a great Sunday everyone

@moyra :grphg: :grphg: :grphg: sending healing vibes your way.

@fat controller - well, at least you won't need to water the garden if your weather is anything like mine = one less job for you to can't-be-bothered about ;)
I lost my Umph on Friday ... but then someone offered me a random act of kindness and my Umph returned with bells on! Hope something in the day brings your Umph back :grphg:

@Lolimac have a great afternoon on your Chook Quest :chicken::chicken::chicken:

@lost_in_france Well what a thoughtless laptop to decide now is the time to be moribund! Typical! :nonofinger: I hope it will hold on for a bit longer for you - until you can at least see a point when you can either repair/replace it :grphg:
Thank you  Yes, yes: everything is going to plan .... it's just  ...

... I'm not certain who's plan it is going by though, because it certainly isn't mine! :rolleyespink: :heehee: It's all taking so, so looooong! :thud: Still, on the positive side, the longer it takes the more earnings I can accrue

Well, I have had a very busy morning doing those "normal" things which were normal to me BW (before work) but are now in the category of "Stolen Moments Of Time" (or, SMOTs for shorthand) :heehee: And then, at Doggy School, someone mentioned the Kent Show is on next weekend ... which just happens to be Mr M's weekend off and (bonus!) it is a dog friendly event. Mr M has booked us tickets online :yay: :hapfeet: :yay: I am one lucky, lucky lady to have had SMOT's and tickets all in one day (and it's still only half way through the day! :heehee: ).

Reams of beams to you all xMx

          Aloha everyone,

A lovely sunny morning and I've done 45 minutes of weeding. That's it for the morning as I shall be teaching till lunchtime.

We've planted some more courgette plants to replace all those eaten by the rabbits. I suppose I'll soon find out whether I've managed to get rid of all the furry monsters. More bean plants going in. The 40 plants they ate are going to affect the income for the charity . so I hope the new plants will catch up fairly quickly.

"M" I hope things go OK for you.

Keep well and have a great day

          Aloha!

            Good Morning everyone,

'M' Do hope everything goes well for you.

Ziggs Sweetheart you didn't have to remove it I just felt so bad when I read that it made me feel really sick. Hopefully the dog died of natural causes and it was a cremation.

WOO, you are doing so well, it was lovely out really early this morning I am sure Penny enjoyed it I know Amber did although of course.

Shiney, You are doing grand in your garden I suspect we are going to see quite a different view at the top of your garden next May.

Hannah, I did say yesterday because I was so unwell that was a lovely picture of your baby.

Loli, Have you had a chance to follow the Tour de France en Yorkshire, I wonder or too busy collecting some new Chooks.

I hope I have not forgotten anyone but if I have I apologise, as you can see I am feeling much better today and am hoping day by day to be much better...I am eating again.......Yea, I am on the up at last!

Have a good day everyone, Take care do not over do it because it is going to be the hottest day of the year......certainly here in the South East. God Bless you all.:wub2:

Morning all, hope you are well.

@moyra , glad you are feeling more yourself sweetie.

Bit late popping in this morning, so my greetings come to you from a very sunny and warm Luton. I have to go out and make a delivery this morning, as our driver is off for another week. The branch manager is also off today, so I be on my todd. Thankfully the roofing guys will take phone messages until I get back.

              Have a great day.

Evening all - sorry I didn't get to look in this morning; I dived off to work, and then pretty much immediately wished that I hadn't bothered. Hey-ho, such is life.

Couple of heavy showers here today, but still had to water most stuff (especially the courgettes) as they were surprisingly a bit dry. Picked no less than 11 cucumbers from the greenhouse, mainly to kick them into producing more, so they will be getting handed round the neighbours tomorrow.

Other than that, its a quiet evening round here.

Bright start here this morning, not seen any of the rain that the weatherman threatened :dunno:

@Lolimac , hope the camping trip goes well

                Good Morning Everyone,

Yesterday I said that I was feeling much better and I could say the same this morning but yesterday went from bad to worse as the day went on. It was as soon as I tried to eat. I couldn't keep anything down. I tried to have some light soup in the afternoon but still the same in the end I stuck to just plain water. So today I shall be very wary of eating anything. I wish I could clear my system of this drug withdrawal after 2 years of taking them I guess it will be hard.

Anyway I hope you are all well and full of the bounce that WOO so loves to advocate. God bless. :wub2:

                Aloha everyone,

Moyra, we're thinking of you :wub2:

FC, it sounds as though jars of pickled cucumbers should be on the horizon. :)

The class went well yesterday but almost half of the class couldn't turn up because of the Tour de France. For most of them it was too difficult trying to find their way around the closed roads, a couple of people managed to make it by doing an extra 10 miles each way and one was unable to leave home as the village he lives in was closed for the race!

I finished the last set of accounts that I do, free of charge, for people and will get their accountant to pick them up. :blue thumb: So that will have cut down on that part of my paperwork.:)

I also had a little telephone discussion with BT (45 minutes) and made a formal complaint about some of their business practices - and have got a refund. Senior management are supposed to call me to discuss it :th scifD36: :snork:.

They've already refunded, one year in advance, a charge for something else I have with them. That's their charge for having paper bills when you have a discount for 'Line Rental Saver' (about 30% discount for paying a year in advance for line rental). The terms say that you have to be 'paper free' and view your bill online. Unfortunately, there's a problem in their computer system and it will not allow me to view my account online! This has been a problem, for them, for over three years. Not a problem for me as I'm happy to receive paper bills.

Our agreement has worked well until this year when their system went fully automated and automatically charges £1.50 a month if you have 'Line Rental Saver' and paper bills. They weren't able to override the system so I came up with the solution for them. At the beginning of each year they pay me £18 - problem solved

I'm going to enjoy it when they phone me! :heehee: Don't mess with Shiney!!! :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

                Have a great day

Shiney, Good for you taken on the big boys, I hope you win.

Loli, you have to laugh at Theo, he was doing what we would like to do is visit friends.

FC my cucumber plant did not survive the snail community so I gave up on it.

WOO and all our lovely friends on here hope you are all ok.

DVLA sent me a letter since I reported to them my Glaucoma they were already aware of my osteoarthritis and diabetes which they were happy about. But since reporting the Glaucoma they wanted me to complete a questionnaire and also to give permission for them to contact my doctor. They omitted to enclose the questionnaire so I have sent back to DVLA the authority to contact my doctor but of course they wont be able to do that until they send me the questionnaire. Stupid clerical bods there obviously. I have yet to let the doctor know I have gone cold turkey and that I am slowly winning. Just the odd ibuprofen and my other medication am I taking at the moment. Plenty of water to keep my fluid intake up.

Have a good day everyone, God bless.
