    Morning everyone,

Its not as cold here this morning, and we haven't had any new snow now in a few days....thankfully!!

Its been a busy week, I've been back and forth to Toronto and am going back down again around 9. I need to do some banking when I get back, and have some grocery shopping to do.

Off to get some more coffee......so enjoy your day all.

      Aloha everyone,

It's been raining heavily all night. The first proper rain I've seen in five weeks.

I'm taking Mrs Shiney and one of her patients up to London shortly for some more scans and results (heart problems, I think). I drop them off at the nearest underground station and they do the rest of the journey from there - which takes about an hour. I'll pick them up again this afternoon. As some of the roads will be flooded I shall have to take a round about route.

The dinner dance went well last night and I got my speech over quickly - to the relief of everyone. :heehee:

The birthday dinner that I was planning for Mrs Shiney's friend on Sunday is tomorrow . So I'll do the shopping for it on the way home this morning.

I saw a funny sight yesterday. One of the cats, Fluffy (a big black and white long haired cat) that wanders round our garden went into the greenhouse. He's big but quite a nervous cat. He, also, likes to sit on the top shelf at the end of the greenhouse but won't sit there if Sarafi is around (or when Oscar was around). He walked, slowly, to the end of the greenhouse path, and stood perfectly upright on his back legs to be able to peer up over the bench to look at the shelf. He did that a few times and looked like the dogs that dance on their back legs! :snork:

Keep well and have a great day

      Aloha!

        Aloha everyone,

Shiney, glad your dance went well last night and your speech as well. You are getting through your list of must dos.

Loli, I really cannot understand why I have been unable to get to grips with why this site collapses on me. Back to the notepad again this morning.

WOO, hope you and the WOO family are all ok this morning.

Have a good day everyone, take care, God bless.

        Aloha!:wub2:

        Morning everyone,

Its colder here today and we had a little snow overnight, but everything looks clean again and not so dirty, with the little mini thaw we had.

I'm off for a hair appointment at 9, and then my manicure at 10:30, and have some deliveries to do for Brad, but its Friday...thank god!

Off to throw some towels into the dryer, so enjoy your day all.

        Good morning everyone,

Shiney...That would have made a good picture of Fluffy checking out the bench:cat-kittyandsmiley:they're marvelous to watch aren't they....i spend a lot of time watching what the animals get up to...too much sometimes but they fascinate me....especially the chooks...they can be at the other end of the garden then suddenly make a run for it to where the birds have landed on the bird feeder hoping to get the seed that gets dropped ...Ada my biggest 'girl' does her best to take off but she's too heavy and ends up bouncing across the garden:chicken:...

Lucky you remembered the birthday dinner Shiney:heehee:....:dbgrtmb:

Lots of pottering in the GH today:dancy: that'll keep me out of mischief:dbgrtmb:

        Waves to all...

Have a great day and take care:SUNsmile:

I'm off out the garden to unpack some more edging. See how much I can manage before baby starts kicking my ribs he hates me bending. Have a great gardening weekend everyone!

            Aloha everyone,

CRG, long time no see, hope you are keeping well, sounds like it.

Loli, I can picture your Ada doing her long swoop along the garden to catch the seed the birds drop.

Shiney how come you didn't get rain for 9 weeks you weren't away that long were you?

The water is still running down Steve's walls and has been across the ceiling to the other wall now so we shall be losing the electrics if we are not careful. Maintenance chappie coming again on Monday.

Have a good day everyone stay dry and warm and most of all safe.

            Aloha!:wub2:

It's a very wet one here this morning but it's still very mild for the time of the year so that's a bonus:dbgrtmb:

I spent most of the day in the GH yesterday and i'll do a bit more today..i thoroughly enjoyed it and almost forgot it was still only January:blue thumb:....

Moyra...it'll be a good job when the leak is fixed before it does more damage.....

Shiney....hope the Birthday Dinner went according to plan and you get chance to take it a bit easier today:dbgrtmb:....

Woo...hope all is well with you and yours:dbgrtmb:

Penny.....Hows the decorating going? take it easy:dbgrtmb:

            Aloha everyone,

The dinner went very well :blue thumb:

The sun is out so I'll get out in the garden and see if I can do anything. Then I've got some cooking to do for meals for some of Mrs Shiney's patients. We may try and get a walk in the forest.

Keep well and have a great day

            Aloha!

            Aloha everyone,

Shiney, you did indeed say 5 weeks, my age I'm afraid. Dementia settling in, Mind you we seem to have had a hell of a lot of rain in the last 5 weeks or so.

Loli, Glad you are managing to get on and do stuff in the greenhouse. Mine is going to need a new plastic cover come the spring It has had to be patched in several places.

Penny, hope you are progressing ok with your decor.

WOO, hope you and yours are ok dear.

Have a good day all, stay warm and dry and most of all safe.

            Aloha!:wub2:
