              Good morning everyone....

              It's a frosty one this morning,it will only be the second time this Winter i've had to defrost the car,the bird baths and the chooks drinker so that's not bad going:dbgrtmb: Mornings like this do make for a lovely sky though.....

                It's also frosty here but the sun is coming up. :blue thumb:

                Well, we drove to the forest yesterday but they had closed the car park as areas of the forest were flooded. We could have parked outside but all the other access points to the forest were extremely muddy. They have roads and walking routes that wouldn't be muddy but we would have had to walk through half a mile of mud to get to the nearest one. So we had a nice drive instead.

                Today I've got to spend time taking all the bird feeders apart (very fiddly job) and give them a good clean. There's rotten and mucky food inside and some of the seeds have started growing!

                    Moyra...did you get your leak fixed?:fingers crossed:.....

                    I've been wandering around the garden defrosting the bird baths and the chooks drinkers,the 'girls' were making it very clear they weren't happy about the frost:rolleyespink:.....they ought to make slippers a bit more insulated and dressing gowns frost proof:heehee:....
                    I've also been trying to get a picture of a pair of Long Tailed Tits but they're too skittish:doh:....

                    I need a cup of tea now to get warmed up again:coffee:

                    I am still here !:blue thumb:

                    Been trying to keep busy, I've had to take the OH to his appointments, tomorrow he has to have his ears syringed, again. He is getting as deaf as a post, hopefully getting this done and having a hearing test he might agree to getting hearing aids.:huh:

                    This morning got my washing done and dried, then I made some cuttings from my Fuchsia 'Jolies Nantes' and repotted some of my tomato seedlings.:spinning:

                    Just going to have my rest after lunch and then I shall do my ironing. :ouch1:

                    Well, I did the bird feeders. It took two and a half hours!!! Then I had to scrub the squirrel guard and, whilst I had the scrubbing brush and water, I scrubbed the plastic garden table.

                    I was out in the evening and had to scrape the ice off the car twice!!! My chest is now hurting (hurts when I breathe in) and I think it's just muscular from overdoing things but Mrs Shiney is trying to get me a doctor's appointment - just in case. The surgery doesn't open until 2 p.m. and I'll be running the bridge club then. So she'll phone me with info. I've also got a bridge match tonight so hope the appointment is in between the two sessions.

                      Loli, no they have not finished the job and in fact we are expecting more rain tomorrow so lets hope what they have done so far and without the added problem of the wind it may not ingress.

                      lili, it is good that you are managing to get out and do things in the garden and GH. Hope OH will be better for his ears syringed.

                      Shiney, looks like you may have overdone things yesterday do take care and get some rest.

                      WOO, my dear friend do hope you are feeling much better but continue to take care of you in the meantime.
