Yawn Yawn, Wakey WAKEY... 2014...

Morning all! Things going ok here and after a 9 month break gardening has started again here. Lots of cutting back and weeding needed but I know the structure of the garden is there somewhere

Ofcourse they have Shiney,it's my weekend onbut I finish at 2pm so at least there's the rest of the day...

There is such a racket going on in the garden this morning,the Starlings have descended and brought their babies,there's dozens of them..I keep trying to get a picture but they're so skittish.I've just been watching one of the Starling chicks waddle up to a Blackbird expecting to be fed but got told in no uncertain terms to clear off...they all look strong little things and have got their wings which is a must in this garden as they spent the day getting chased off by the chooks yesterday

Was it warm enough for you all yesterday?....

Inbetween pottering and chasing off the Hawk I thought I'd sit for a little while with a cuppa in the sunshine,I only lasted a minute,way too hot for me I used to get decked out until I fried when I was young and daft,now I'm older and daft I just can't hack it...Wasn't it lovely though and more to come....

I spent the afternoon in the doctors surgery with Mum,she was feeling the after effects of her minor operation but was soon put to rights,thankfully...

Time for a cuppa then off to work so I'll leave you with strict instructions....Enjoy this beautiful weather and take it easy

Sorry it's cloudy Gdnam and Shiney. It looks as though I have got your sun here in WY. I have just got back from a couple of miles or so with Bailey on the towpath and up to Haw Park Woods.
Kettles on now for a welcome "pot of tea".

That big golden globe is gracing us with an appearance here too!
Going out walking today, so just whipped around to make sure the plants in the greenhouse will be comfortable while we are out! Picnic made! Bite cream packed( I think I. was only put on this earth to feed the wildlife).

WOO, you are lucky to have some to generate, I have been existing on this single cell for so long now I cannot recall, but then you wouldn't expect me to!

Shiney you must tell H you both haven't the time to go garden visiting while preparing your own. Actually I have heard the Bressingham is worth a visit! I cannot believe the year has come round and it is next weekend!

LWW, it must be lovely to take Bailey for a long walk at the beginning of the day. My legs unfortunately would not carry me but I'd give it a try.....maybe 50 metres! With my perambulator otherwise known as a rollator. Its a H frame with wheels. Shiney may have to bring it with me next week.

Loli, I am glad they managed to sort your mum out.; Us oldies give you youngsters some worry don't we?

Ade. Alright for some out on a picnic. Who will we be seeing at Shiney's next week?


Now, I have to water the lawn after Steve put a load of feed on it yesterday and watered it in the least I can do is make sure it doesn't burn off.

I was glad to get home from work it was so hot in there too didn't get very much done in the afternoon apart from a bit of watering later on.The dogs and chooks were finding the shade but still too warm...

The dogs look great, bit bigger than mad dog Bailey, they do suffer though in this weather don't they.
