Good morning everyone, rather dull and dreary out there but at least it is not raining. I hope everyone is ok. I must get Amber out and on her walk round so that I can get my hip moving again rather painful this morning but I have only just taken my tablets.

Shiney, I hope you get your foot sorted out, doesn't sound too good.

Steve I hope the new job is going ok. How long have you to work at that.

Loli, hope you get your garden pumped off so that the chooks do not go digging it up!

Welcome from a dull dreary Berkshire.

We are slowly dragging ourselves from our pit...Fred the dog is already on his blanket on the sofa, the OH is making his breakfast, me, washed, dressed and ready for the day, albeit a bit achey from yesterday's tumble.

Trying to catch up with all my jobs, as usual a list as long as your arm, small things, but still need putting right.

Must have a large cappuccino first...

Woo - it's quite an event, the Dickens Festival. I shall try and make it this year.

Just had a really lovely phone call with one son - it's his birthday today, the first we've not shared on the day. Great that he remembered to call: I really appreciate that (take note all you "children", us parents like to be remembered too Like I said to him: there were only two people involved in that process on the day - me and him!

Just over a week and they will both be home ... extra muscle for the packing

HG - glad the new contract appears to be going ok

Shy Knee - do take extra care with your foot! I know Mrs Shy Knee is giving it her best, but, even so .. you need to keep off it for a little bit so her work isn't undone (end of nagging ).

Woo,I've ordered plenty of sunshine for this weekend so have a great time

HG...Mums check up went well,thank youshe's doing great...

...There's no rain this morning....The lawns still need to dry out before I let myself loose on them but there's Tomatoes that are arguing with each other in the greenhouse for space so I can get cracking with thoseFirst job is to empty the GH,then lower the staging and then fill it back up again even if I had a 100ft GH I'd still fill it
