    It seems to have disappeared from here at the moment, very gray and a cool wind! Mr Sun lost his battle with the clouds :cry3:

      I really want it to stay dry until at least Monday, as I've got my trip to see The Eagles tomorrow, and then on Saturday and Sunday, I really could do to get the new shed at least started....

                      Very overcast today, hopefully a sunny afternoon.:SUNsmile:

                      Feeling a whole better today, mouth has improved, having to massage sensitive toothpaste directly onto the tooth every 4 hours, keeps pain to acceptable.:fingers crossed:

                      New tablets prescribed by doctor have improved my sleep, and it helps everyone else in the family as well. I now wake with a clear head and ready to take on the day.:yay:

                        Aloha everyone,

                        We had an good evening at the preview of the 'Grow London' show. It appeared to be aimed at the people that were after style but don't have much of a garden (understandable as it was held at Hampstead Heath). It would also suit people that were after things for patios and courtyards.

                        The drive up was rather busy with traffic as a lot of people seemed to have left work early, probably to get home to see the football. I wouldn't normally have driven up but we had been offered a reserved parking space. It took 90 minutes for the drive, which is what it would have taken by public transport (dodging through the back roads, which saved us about an hour - thanks to a combination of ancient memories :old: and some help from Mr SatNav :heehee:).

                        The return journey, at 10.30 p.m., should have taken no more than 40 minutes but there were a number of accidents on the main roads - M25 and N. Circular. So we had to weave around quite a lot with some good, and bad, choices of alternative routes. It took 90 minutes, again, but that did involve a visit to an all night Tesco for a load of shopping. :doh:

                        I want to get all the lawns mowed today as we have students all weekend. It looks as though the weather will be good enough for all of them to have lunch in the garden both days. :blue thumb:

                        I'll see how my foot bears up under the stress :phew: :snork: so may not get it all done :)
