@fat controller I got cut up by a bus yesterday! I was in the outside lane at the traffic lights, waiting to turn right, and a bus was approaching the lights on the inside lane as the lights changed. He cut across the front of me and turned right :hate-shocked:.

The unmarked police car behind me was not amused and as soon as I had turned right he put his siren on and went after him. :heehee:

I'm usually away from the lights pretty quickly and may have hit him but, fortunately, I was concentrating on what alternate route I was going to take to avoid the traffic problems, so was a bit slower than usual.

You can bet that the police will have done him for it too - no excuse for that sort of behaviour especially from a professional driver. If he was one of mine, he would be in very hot water too

I didn't hang around to see what the police did. I imagine the driver had got frustrated with the traffic holdups (he should be used to it) and the exit road on the right had two lanes. There wouldn't have been a problem if he had kept to the near side as he went round but he cut across my lane! :nonofinger:

It was at Turnpike Lane which I'm sure is not your area :)

      Nah, not my area.

Thing is, he is paid to sit in traffic, and (certainly my company and I am sure others too) if he is late to finish his duty he gets paid overtime.

When I was a driver, traffic never bothered me - the later I finished, the more money in the bank

        Good morning Woo and everyone,

The sun is shining brightly on my nicely cut lawns - and everywhere else.

I've got some cooking to start soon, for the students' lunch (nearly forgot the apostrophe!) :heehee: We'll be able to eat outdoors today :hapydancsmil:

We've made a bee drinking bowl :blue thumb: but haven't seen any bees on it yet. Butterflies are here in abundance. :)

Enjoy this wonderful midsummer's day

        Aloha!

              Steve ..It's glorious here too:yes:

It's a good job it's the longest day because I've a long list of things to do in the garden and can't wait to get cracking:dancy:..It's about time I got all the stray plants that are knocking about planted, fed and watered, they've been littering the patio for weeks, once that's done I might be able to find a spot to sit down on it:rolleyespink:...Great advice from Monty last night on GW...."make time to sit back and enjoy the garden" so i'll do as he says:thumbsup:...only trouble is I'll need a blindfold otherwise I'll spot something else that needs doing:doh:

Wishing everyone well, have a lovely day and find time to enjoy your lovely gardens:wub2:
              Take care:SUNsmile:

Morning early people, happy Solstice

Don't forget to wear a sprig of Mugwort in your belt today. Throw it into the Solstice fire tonight and all your ills for the coming year will go up in smoke with it :)

Alternatively, it makes a nice marinade for the Barbeque :)

                      Good morning everyone :)

Beautiful day here, the birds are singing and the sun is shining :)

I'm ever so slightly tired this morning, and a wee bit hoarse, but by goodness The Eagles were nothing short of stunning last night

Hopefully the weather will stay with me as we get cracking on the shed

Good morning on this beautiful solstice day!

It seems so little time ago we were celebrating the winter solstice and another six months have gone by in a flash not without some memorable happenings in that time.

Zigs where will I find the Mugwort.

Shiney and Loli How do I make the bee drinking bowl. I assume it is water with sugar added?

WOO thanks for the beautiful picture. Do take care of you and the family. God bless.

LIF. Now now Eve no to buying more roses, unless of course you have room for them, in which case, buy and enjoy!

I went to the docs late afternoon and my tramdol prescription has been cut in half so I am now on half doses. It is hard and I am finding it difficult but we shall get there eventually as I shall be on co-codramol I think that is what it is called afterwards. Trouble is there are what I tried before I went onto the tramdol and it didn't work. Oh lord I have just realized I am not allowed to use the word tramdol on here with the a in. It will have to be amended. Done.
Must go and water the garden, Have a good day. God bless.:wub2:
